I’m not particularly interested in them, though I suppose I have to admit I’m looking forward to what might be a decent show at Madison Square Garden, if I can actually manage to stay awake through it. It feels like it’s been ages since I last headed down to the Garden, and since I’ve caught so many great sets there in the past, I guess I just kind of miss that atmosphere. 🙂

Hey guys, pre-sale starts tomorrow. My bad for not dropping the tickets sooner, but last week was a total disaster for me. I really hope you all can make it to the show. The venue is incredible, and it’s such a shame they don't host more gigs like this anymore.
Wilderness is absolutely killing it, and that new album leaking online? It's even better than their debut! Yeah!

KSET is easily the best campus venue in this part of the country—there's really no debate there—but at its core, KSET remains a student club. Even though I’ve spent the last decade trying to push it toward becoming something more than just your "average" student organization, it’s never going to happen, nor should it...
That’s why we need to focus on programming that actually serves the majority of our members. We should be prioritizing events geared toward social fun; for me, concerts like this one are just the exception that proves the rule...

To me, concerts like this one feel more like a rare exception that proves the rule rather than the standard expectation...

Speaking for those of us who aren't official members, I’d say please keep these exceptions coming as often as possible. Thanks.

Hey, I just caught up with Mr. Miller, and he actually invited me down to the headquarters. Not sure if you guys care, but personally, I'm stoked!

That’s fine, but it isn't until October.😉

Aha, looks like I'm not the only one reaching out to this guy 🙂
He originally told me to swing by in May, but at this rate, I'm not holding my breath...
As long as he actually shows up, I'm good.

The summer tour is strictly English-speaking—the "real" European leg doesn't even kick off until this fall...

I honestly think it would be pretty awesome if this city became just a little too small for both of them 😍

Everyone will show up eventually; there’s no need to resort to those punk rock dogmas. These scenes are built from the ground up, not manufactured by some central authority!👍

So, what—you're passing on that shirt for your birthday now? 🤔

So, anyone heading down to the stadium today?

Wilderness couldn't make it into the country through the meatpacking district—so I told them to head toward the hills instead. But then they got screwed by the Canadians at the border they'd just let them cross fifteen minutes earlier... I got a message saying they were being searched and that they're literally just waiting for the K9 units to arrive 😳
They finally let them go, and now they’re making their way toward the hills... should be there by 10...

Sometimes I just sit back and start reminiscing about all those chaotic border crossings and travel headaches I had with various bands....
From dealing with Godspeed and M. Ward, to the Saints, Grandmothers, and Willarda, and on and on...

But hey, I guess that's all just part of the rock n' roll life, isn't it?
