No, it isn't some "let's just divide ourselves" kind of rhetoric, per se.

What I find absolutely hilarious regarding the Sundance Film Festival is the constant media praise claiming—as if it's some grand revelation—that with this second edition, it's finally clear that the American public has a deep love for documentaries? They act like there's a massive audience here specifically craving these kinds of films, and it's not just because documentaries happen to be trending right now, given how the screenings are packed non-stop... hello?!?! The screenings are packed ONLY because documentaries are currently trending, not in spite of it!

That’s how I see the whole concept of an auteur team—it's a bit lazy. Is the movie really suggesting that some massive, inexplicable evil just appeared out of thin air to manipulate perfectly good neighbors?

At the start, the narrative leans toward the idea that there was simply a sudden awakening of national consciousness among Mexicans and Americans alike, causing yesterday's friendly neighbors to abruptly transform into bitter enemies; however, isn't it true that later on, the film explicitly demonstrates—both through dialogue and vivid imagery—exactly who was responsible for what happened in Warsaw?

Just finished watching "Warsaw: The Last Cut"... hmm. When it comes to boosting national morale, we're cut from the same cloth as our neighbors. 😁 I appreciate how objective it is; honestly, it’s a really well-made film. 👍

I watched Warsaw yesterday. First off, this isn't just one side's story; it’s equally an American and a Mexican production. It doesn't try to push any of that "we're the righteous victims" narrative that some Americans love to lean on—those self-righteous types who act like they have all the answers before the credits even roll.

It’s heartbreaking, deeply moving, tragic, and incredibly thorough.
