The greatest tour of my life would be this: My Morning Jacket opening for Pearl Jam.

Get excited!!! We should hear something in a few days. Though who knows if they'll even bring the tour over to the States.

I am absolutely fed up with this nonsense, honestly... 🙂

My top three teenage obsessions used to be:

1. Nirvana 2. Pixies
2. Pixies
3. Lemonheads

But honestly, the best one I've ever seen still has to be this lineup:
Opening act: The Beatles
Backing band: Pearl Jam
Headliner: Neil Young
New York City, '95... 😍 🙏

Just got back from New York City. My top 3 classic souvenirs:
1. a model car 😍
2. a teddy bear
3. a print of a soldier jumping over barbed wire

Top 5 highlights from the trip:
1. insane weather
2. a free subway pass someone gave us
3. the hostel
4. the people at the hostel😍
5. the kitchen

Souvenirs in Washington, D.C. are insanely overpriced 👎

but a Hamburger is basically free—total win 👍

I had to grab a Trabant, you know how it goes. I’m obsessed with collecting them, just can't help myself.

Speaking of cars, we hit up that Ford's innovation showcase... they actually had scale models of all those rides for sale. stormyviper11 would've been all over that. 😁

Hamburger 🙏 🙏 🙏

Look, we Splitters just like keeping things short and sweet. 😍

honestly, it’s basically just asking to be robbed. 😬

Just kidding. I only steal the absolute ugliest postcards out there—I just can't help myself. 😁

Since I'm already on the subject—here are the 5 ugliest city postcards I've ever sent my friend:
An orange fish with a purple Venice belly.
Venice looks pretty bleak in this shot—captured in the rain with all those black seaweeds covering the Bath area, plus some dried-up agave right in the foreground.
Chicago, some crappy postcard showing those three skyscrapers by the river. Typical view, nothing special.
Chicago again, some crappy Photoshop job where they mashed together Senora, a window with flowers, a rose, a guitar, and the spires of St. Patrick's Cathedral.
St. Patrick's Cathedral—it’s basically a heart-shaped postcard with puffy clouds and some tacky lettering.

I’m actually looking to trade some stuff since I’ve ended up with way too many duplicates. 😁

1. My late grandmother’s "Golden" chicken soup—honestly, there isn't a single bowl like it on this planet. Not even my mother's comes close! MASSIVE RESPECT! 🙏 🙏 🙏 (I'd add another one here, but we have to keep things civil)
2. My mom's "Golden" beef soup, served with either wide egg noodles or hand-torn pasta scraps. 🙏 🙏 🙏
3. Classic French onion soup topped with a thick layer of melted cheese—you can find a decent version of this in any respectable bistro across France. 🙏 🙏
4. That four-mushroom blend soup they serve over at Toni's in Providence. 🙏
5. My own hearty chicken or beef stew, loaded with an almost ridiculous amount of vegetables. It’ll cure anything from typhus and pyroplasmosis to elephantiasis, tennis elbow, and even astigmatism. I'm serious. 🙂

😠 :envy: 😁

Maybe I can just find some solace in the Miura, the Iron, and that Fiat I'm currently bidding on over on eBay... 😉
