And what if you're the first one in line? Still no brainpower then? 😬

Since we're talking about the cars our families used to own...

1. Classic American cars
2. Classic American cars
3. Classic American cars
4. Ford models

I wonder if there's a pattern here...

Well—one simply makes an effort not to be that first person... 🙂 😊 👩

Driving is such a wonderful thing—you really have no idea what you are missing out on. 😍

5. Chevy Cavalier
Total amateurs. 🥳

😬

Alright, I have to admit, I squeezed two Citroens in there before hitting the Chevy. 😳

Man, you ladies make driving look so simple, yet somehow you make it so... complicated. 😁

Anyway, I’m always that first one. 😢

Well, you’re never actually the first one there, are you?
That intersection is usually some massive bottleneck right during rush hour, and even if it isn't, you’re stuck idling for fifty yards before the light even thinks about turning green. By the time you actually reach the front of the line, there’s no way you’re first in line; you've already spent half your life crawling behind the guy who barely cleared the sensor. 😁

Here’s a chronological rundown of the cars I've owned:
1. Stojka 1 (this one before me)
2. Stojka 2
3. Chevrolet Cavalier
So, I just saw the fourth generation Toyota Corolla, and honestly, what are we even doing here? It feels like every time they release a "new" model, they’re just rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic while pretending everything is revolutionary. Is it actually an improvement, or are we all just being gaslit by clever marketing departments? I can't help but feel like we've been down this road before, circling the same tired designs and calling it progress. Does anyone else get that nagging sense of deja vu, or am I just getting too old and cynical for the automotive industry? 🎉

Reno 4... honestly, what even is that thing? Just thinking about it makes me wonder...
5. Reno 4
Amateurs... 🥳

😬

Alright, I gotta admit, he managed to squeeze two Citroens in right before that fifth one... 😳

The best part had to be that scene where we all headed out to... wait, where exactly did we go again? Was it near the Odor River, or maybe by the Mississippi, or some random canal? I can't quite place it... It was somewhere around 1990, just a bunch of family sedans parked right up by the riverbank...

Reno 4 (red)
Reno 4 (white)
Reno 4 (yellow)
Reno 4 (green)
Reno 4 (blue)

🙂

And now, there isn't even one left in the family... 😢

I think even back then, when I was maybe nine years old, I was already more of a man than Carol Jackson45 is today. 😁

Top 3 movies everyone else seems to have seen except me:

1. Walk The Line
2. Hostel
3. Geisha

You're ahead of the curve.

1. Brokeback Mountain 2. Walk The Line
2. Walk The Line
3. Memoirs of a Geisha (?)

(4) Hostel!? Kids these days are out of their minds. It’s like you don't even have a local butcher shop nearby to keep things grounded.

Douglas Taylor4 said:(4) A hostel!? Kids are absolute chaos. Don't you have a police station nearby?

The local precinct is basically a circus—a carnival and a party rolled into one—compared to a hostel. It’s boring, people, truly b-o-r-i-n-g...

Come on, vividcanyon2, let's be a little dramatic.

Here is my top list of movies you've seen that I'm still debating whether I can handle:
1. Pride and Prejudice 🙂

Man, you're killing me. I've only made it to the theater twice in the last 4 months. Expanding my list to 8:
1. Gay Cowboys
2. Gay Canadian
3. Geisha 😬
4. Schultze's The Blues 😬
5. How to be a man without a mustache
6. Good Night, and Good Luck
7. Walk The Line
8. You and Me and Everyone We Know

Whatever. 😢

And I missed out on that. Great.

You academics... meanwhile, us regular folks just head to the theater.

You organized those films quite nicely—so I will simply say—don't bother with the romances. Watch the non-romances first 🙂 edit: actually, no, let's swap 4 and 3.

colin 😍 has anyone seen Nanny McPhee? I have sat through all sorts of garbage starring him, but this one... somehow scares me...

Nice list, but honestly? Don't bother overthinking the romances. Just watch the odd-numbered ones first 🙂 edit: actually, scratch that, swap 3 and 4.

Colin 😍

Eh, maybe... I don't have much $83 for movies 😢 But I'll figure something out. Start with Brokeback Mountain 2. Walk The Line. Then the cowboys. We'll see. Thanks for the tips 🙂

Ah, Colin image
