it’s honestly 😁

Carol Jackson45 said:Keep the female flight attendants—just give me the guys. 🙂

I remember this one guy on a flight to NYC—I couldn't tell if he was pointing out the emergency exits and oxygen masks or performing a freaking ballet routine 🤣 my friend actually warned me to keep an eye on him 😁

Carol Jackson45 said:I mean, where on earth did you even find him? 🙄 🤣

I actually caught one of his lectures recently (Loso at the Faculty of Arts, honestly, I don't know what this world is coming to), so it’s still pretty fresh in my mind...

🤣 🤣 🤣

A buddy of mine used to work as a flight attendant (yeah, I'm using the feminine version on purpose). Naturally, I swiped his spare uniform buttons 😍

Ugh, I actually love clogs—the real ones, with the wooden soles and those little holes

Sailors don't even wear those striped shirts and neckerchiefs anymore. It’s just not the same. 😢

Ugh, no way. That’s basically orthopedic footwear, and honestly, it’s just not sexy. My first thought when I hear "clogs" is an empty pharmacy window, scoliosis, and that annoying clicking sound they make on the floor at home.

Carol Jackson45 Asks:
The top three combinations guaranteed to leave you puking and nursing a hell of a hangover:
(...)
Beer and wine...

I’m fairly certain I’ve spent about 90% of my life mixing red wine with beer... 😬

Carol Jackson45 The user said:Not simultaneously, but one after the other... 😉

You can mix beer and wormwood together—it’s what they call an ivanovac Sunrise. It’s absolutely revolting if you actually try to drink it, but at least it looks nice and is named after krivakov... 😍

Melissa Sanchez37 The user said:And one more thing... regarding that song "Mangup," specifically when Lidija Asanović sings:

"Because you're a crook, a total con artist... you don't want a kid like me."

The poet is trying to say one of two things: either you don't want a child at all, just like I don't... or you simply don't want one with me.
🙂

We’re still in this fight!!! 🙏 🙏 🙏

Just more prejudice.

We're talking uniforms now? 😕

Same here 😁—usually following this exact routine: bamboo rum, then a stout, then a light lager. And if the night is going really well, a Bacardi mixer to wrap things up. 😍

That’s my order as well, though I typically cap things off with a shot of whiskey or vodka.

The absolute worst, however, are those travel spirits—you know the ones, where you tell yourself, "Just one more shot before we hit the road..."

And honestly? The worst part is those "travel pours"—that whole "just one more for the road" routine...

Sometimes I’ll just grab a single shot, too. Depends entirely on my mood and how much cash I’m carrying. But I try to dodge those "road drinks"—once you start down that path, you definitely won't remember the drive.😬

The logic is simple: you start with wine to warm up the mood, spark some social energy, loosen your tongue, and hopefully kill off that awkward anxiety when talking to women. But once things get moving, you switch over to beer. Beer is a lighter hitter; it keeps you upright enough to make it through the night until 4 AM, whereas if you kept pounding wine, you’d be completely wiped out by midnight. 🙂

We decided to use absinthe for our road trip this past Friday, and frankly, we didn't get anywhere. If you value actually reaching your destination, you should definitely avoid using it while driving.

Honestly, just looking at a bottle of Scotch, whiskey, or even wormwood liqueur makes me feel physically ill. I’m practically nauseous at the mere sight of them.

Sandra Chase16 said:just looking at a bottle of cheap whiskey, bourbon, or absinthe makes me feel sick and hungover already

I definitely leaned into the hard stuff—whiskey, bourbon, vodka—mostly because of one specific friend (you know who you are, 😘 ), but absinthe? Total nightmare. There's no fixing that for me.

A total rookie mistake in categorization... Pelinkovac and brandy don't count as alcohol; they're practically narcotics.

So, who was it a few pages back claiming Spanko carries 22oz cans of Pilsner Urquell? Is that actually true? And if so, what’s the damage...

Does anyone remember someone mentioning earlier that Spanko carries 22oz Pilsner Urquell? Is that actually true? If so, what's the damage?

Quite a lot... was it 20 or 18? I can't quite recall, but it was certainly enough to provide a little respite from everyone else.

Kevin Chavez3 said:Wait, did someone up there seriously say Spanko has 0.66 Pilsner Urquell? Is that actually legit? How much are they charging for it?

It was ar Pekka who mentioned it, and honestly, that detail kind of caught my eye...
Man, if they have it, I’d probably grab a few bottles at Walmart on my way home from work.
Assuming nobody talks me into checking out those Letu Štuke instead...
