Susan Clark10 said:Top 5 absolute disasters in men's footwear:
Jesus fingers. 😱
Japanese girls.
Strappy sandals and basically any open-toe shoe. Total disaster.
Double-bell loafers. 😬
Just looking for some classic men's dress shoes for a wedding.
Men need to stick to sneakers—Vans or Adidas Old Skools. Period.
🙂
I’m with you on all of that—honestly, I'd even sign your wishlist. Though, if we're talking style, you forgot Chuck Taylors. There's just something about a pair of Converse on someone with long, narrow feet... seriously sexy. Anyway, I’ve got three more to add:
Rubber flip-flops for the beach.
Those toe sandals—not the Jesus ones, I mean those leather, closed-toe ones that were everywhere a couple of years ago.
Running shoes—especially those heavy-duty ones meant for serious training. 👎
stormywolf39 said:So, what’s wrong with something like this?
It doesn't mean anything unless there's a pair of guy feet involved. 😉

😁 😁 😁
Gonna do a quick rundown before I crash (gotta be up at 6:30 AM tomorrow), here are my top 8 worst women's shoes:
1. borosana, regardless of what Nina Violic says about them
2. High-heeled flip-flops
3. High-heeled sneakers (seriously, what were those designers thinking?)
4. Fake chunky combat boots with heels
5. Those toe-strap sandals that leave almost everything exposed (ugh, gross 😱 )
6. Loafers
7. Those sparkly, rustic flats everyone was wearing last year
8. Women's soccer cleats
Miss L, you're up 😁

What about sweats?

Roger Clark50 said:Does that include tracksuits?
Just the top. And nothing baggy—those are a total turn off. 😁

Carol Jackson45 said:3. Those platform sneakers (seriously, what kind of designer is actually thinking this is okay?)
Ugh, tell me about it, I absolutely loathe them. There’s really only one pair out there that doesn't make my skin crawl...😬
A friend of mine took her own platforms and totally customized them—she added some glitter, did this amazing custom dye job, you name it—and honestly, I was just floored by how good they looked. They're black and red and they look exactly like this smiley face: 😈

Carol Jackson45 said:(you need some sneakers, personally I think they look sooo sexy on people with long, narrow feet)
(hey there, gorgeous 😉)
I honestly don't get—or even respect—this whole summer footwear trend. If you're gonna go that route, just be prepared for stinky feet...

Since I’m playing critic today (even though I have to be up at 6:30 AM tomorrow), here are my top 8 worst women's shoes:
1. Borosana—I don't care what Nina Violic said about them.
2. High-heeled flip-flops.
3. High-heeled sneakers (seriously, what were those designers thinking?)
4. Fake platform Doc Martens.
5. Those sandals that only show two toes (just... gross. 😱 )
6. Loafers.
7. Those sparkly, peasant-style flats every woman was wearing last year.
8. Women's soccer cleats.
miss L, you're up. Take it away. 😁
Yeah, we actually agree on this one. 😁
But you missed the ultra-pointed stilettos... though they're already so out. 😬

stormywolf39 said:Yeah, we're actually on the same page here 😁
But you’re still missing that extra bit of flair... even if it’s already passed 😬
It looks good on some women 😳
Anyway, you got me thinking—you could probably pull off that look without the heels and still take 9th place. Bonus points if that little twist from walking makes it flip up just right 🙄

Who gave anyone permission to talk about shoes without my say-so? 😁
Men's flip-flops are hot, but specifically those basic, thin black ones. There's something about when those toes peek through 😍
Honestly, I’m just glad we still have that conservative, old-school American masculinity here. It really puts those flashy Italian styles into perspective. 🤣
Moving on. A pointed toe only works if it’s on Turkish or Turkish-inspired footwear. If you don't like loafers, you're missing out. A pointed toe on the little toe is adorable—but only if it’s a short point that visually slims the foot. It's cute. And glittery slip-ons? Totally sweet.
By the way, the "spicpapak" look isn't out of style; it's timeless. In fact, blunt, square-toed shoes are already over.
Says the woman who spends 99% of her time in Adidas Universals.

Carol, I'm gonna marry you 😬
Those high-heeled boots are honestly the most hideous things I've ever seen; they were such a massive letdown 👎
9. Those high-top boxing-style sneakers, like something from Diesel
10. Platform shoes
11. Those... oh, what do you call them... those ugly fur-lined boots originally from Australia that every trendsetter swears by, even though people wear them in the middle of summer... Kate Moss wears them

Roger Clark50 said:Does she have a tracksuit on too?
Ooh... an old-school vintage Adidas track jacket, maybe blue or red from back in the early '80s... now that sounds good.😍
#855 ·
@11 - UGG 😍 I own them, and I wear them. :trendseterica: But honestly, nobody wears these in the summer—except maybe surfers looking to keep their feet from freezing after jumping out of the Pacific. That's about it.
Man, I had some seriously incredible platforms back in high school. We had those waves in every single shade of blue imaginable. Just beautiful. 😍 My mom tossed them out the second I moved to the States. 😢

Whatever. Most people said they looked sweet when they saw them on me. I think they're sweet, too.

You have no idea—they're actually huge trendsetters this summer. Honestly, I saw them featured in Vogue 😬
And yeah, they’re pretty ugly 😈
