But they're nowhere to be found. 😢

Same here. Sadly.

I think they're great too—though I'd probably go with a pink version instead of white, maybe something like

Look, I’ve been rocking those red and black Puma 199s for three years now, and honestly? I’m calling it: they haven't released anything better since. 🙏 🙏

Ugh, please. Those Japanese loafers and those cheap little slip-ons... 🙄 They’re just pure hillbilly fashion. 🙂

Real men only respect a solid pair of sneakers, some heavy-duty snow boots for the winter, or maybe some rugged rubber flip-flops that can actually handle the salt. 🙂

And where are the work boots?

Everything's gone downhill. This snow, this winter, all this garbage... it doesn't even deserve more than a single mention.

🤔 Anyway, was I saying—or am I just imagining it now?—what the best spots were to grab food in the middle of the night:

1. That sandwich shop out in the suburbs 🙏 which is perfect if you're planning on stumbling home drunk or just don't have a car handy.😍
2. Near the Lakers arena—there's that kebab place by 12, or the one closer to the streetcar stop after midnight.
3. A roadside Big Mac meal 4th penguin, obviously.
4. The local diner—mostly because they won't rob you blind.
5. Bonita and that spot just past the square, once you realize Hamby probably shut down around 9.

The highlights from my list in number 1:
1. Grilled chicken 🙏
2. That cheese pastry thing 🙂
3. Just a pile of meat inside a bun.

Man, talk about being clueless. Boots are primarily meant for mud.

mud 😍

(I mean, sure, it’s a fact that trekking through mud is better in boots, but it’s not always 😁 )

Honestly, I can't tell if this city is getting more pathetic or if your stomach is just hitting rock bottom given the options here.

The bakery at the Greyhound station🙂

1. A delicious savory pastry filled with pork sausage
2. A meat-filled turnover
3. Ideally, a thick, juicy half-liter of soda

Just head to Ramadani. The rest stayed behind in Indianapolis. 🙂

Personally, I can't stand the food scene in Indianapolis... if you head down to the City, you’re basically asking for trouble from some local tough guys, and besides, it takes them a good hour just to notice you're there and ask what you want to eat—plus they charge $0.67 extra for every single side added to a burger 🙂

The pizza at that food truck along the promenade in Indianapolis is actually quite good.🙂

True, but their burgers are actually decent, and honestly, onions and sour cream are enough sides for me. But that's not the point; the point is, damn this city where you can't even grab some chili or a breakfast sandwich at 4 in the morning. 🙂

And those cheapskates over at The Quad are just as bad. Even though the meat quality is questionable at best, in downtown (I dread to think what's actually in that stuff), they'll pile eight tons of toppings on you for $3.25. There’s nothing quite like a burger with everything* before you pass out... 👍

Best fast food spots we stumbled upon during our three-month ski trip through the States while cruising the Clickov patrols:
1. That one fast food joint in Madison—it stays open until 1 AM, and honestly, everything we tried there was top-tier. If I were feeling particularly salty, I’d say it was the only thing worth eating in Madison. But hey, look at me... being a jerk. 😈
2. This hidden gem on Martha's Vineyard, tucked away in a courtyard with zero signage outside. It came with this whole intense backstory about local island tin music history and a price tag that gave us sticker shock (I think the cheeseburger was like $7 or $8 back then). We were actually pretty pissed off until the food arrived... but man, it was huge and delicious. In the end, I actually felt bad for not tipping the guy more, but I'd already paid before the tasting.
3. A spicy kebab, loaded with everything, over in Newport from barba (local pride, damn it). Total classic.

The absolute worst:
1. Rubelj in Bjelovar 🙂
Look, Bjelovar is a great city and I had an awesome time there, but every single place we were taken to eat was criminally bad. I'll have to head back there eventually just to do a redo...

2. That hidden gem on Rhode Island, tucked away in a backyard with zero signage. Between the interesting story about local tin music history and the sticker shock (I think the cheeseburger was like $7 or $8), we were pretty annoyed until we finally got our hands on it. Once we tasted it: man, it was huge and delicious... I actually felt bad for not leaving the guy a bigger tip since I paid before eating.
3. A spicy kebab with all the fixings in the Suburban area at Barbary's (local pride, you know how it is). A total classic.

The worst:
1. Rubelj in Bielefeld 🙂
Bielefeld is a great city and I had a blast there, but every single place they took us to eat was criminally bad. I’ll have to head back there sometime just for a redo.

Totally agree with all this, even if I totally missed out on Des Moines, but yeah, Rhode Island and that kebab were spot on.😍
and rubelj 🤮 ....man, that stuff tasted like literal plastic.

The worst sliders I have ever tasted:

- These Kroger ones from last May Day 🤮

Even my cat took one sniff and turned his nose up at them, and even my buddy, who's basically a food critic at heart, wouldn't touch them either.
