And for wheels? You're looking at either a Tennessee Stud or a '64 Oldsmobile Cutlass. :iain'tdeadyet:

Alright, a Cutlass sounds cool, but this specific one, is definitely not it... I can't stand those over-polished, "look at me" types that spend more time waxing the chrome than actually driving.

But hey, I've got a non-American ride for you instead: Singer Gazelle 😈

Excuse me? Just one single negation...? 🙂

You aren't behind the wheel... Nothing...Man...

coastalpanther11, I don't know. You're inviting me into someone else's territory here... I have no idea if I’m even welcome, let alone how I'm supposed to act...

I’ll take the bat any day, but you can forget about me ever being an opossum. 😳Put another beer in the office fridge:

Does anyone out there actually have an honest—and I mean a legit, no-filler—compilation of authentic Cajun music?

Well, while I was digging through my laundry looking for a specific graphic tee, I stumbled upon one with my own name on it.

A "stress" shirt—honestly, it’s such a vibe right now.

Just click the image itself instead of trying to hit the link.

coastalpanther11 said:The Smiths are on the cover of Uncut 😍 The bonus CD features "John Peel's Festive 15" including tracks by Fall, Eat Y'self Fitter, Wed Pres - Everyone Thinks He Looks Daft, and Pavement. No McLusky included. Bummer.

It sounds like you're living in a completely different decade.
Honestly, how can you call yourself a real music fan if you haven't seen The Smiths live?
Has there even been a solo Morrissey concert that actually landed?

*just asking seriously*

That’s just typical indie-folk energy right there.

Douglas Taylor4 said:That’s basically just indie folk-pop vibes, like listening to Death Cab for Cutie on loop.

Actually, I see what you mean now—it's decent enough, but I think I need something with a bit more edge to keep me from zoning out...

No way, really? :YeOldeKentuckyRolleyesBonanza:

@Douglas Taylor4/">@@Douglas Taylor4: Not a single one has fallen yet. Damn. Stop acting like such a diva, lady. As soon as it hits the stands closer to home, I'm there, dOOd.

The January Uncut is perfect for those indie snobs with too much time on their hands. Besides the Smith cover story, you've got pieces on Wilco, The National, John Waters, and Lightning Bolt. It’s some top-tier holiday reading!

Aside from the main feature on Smith, there’s plenty of goodness inside, including pieces on Wilco, The National, John Waters, and even Lightning Bolt. It really makes for some truly excellent holiday reading!

Christmas is just around the corner... 🙂

pet said:Here is my top list of films that I think would definitely make this year's best-of list—assuming I can somehow track down some decent English subtitles for them:
1. Canadian Rhapsody (Lajos Koltai)

Does anyone here actually speak Canadian? 😁

I do. 🙂

While an Englishman would just call it "Fateless," we’d likely describe it as "Bezsudbinost"—which is essentially a "state of being fateless"—though if you ask any major US film distributor, they’d probably just slap a title on it like "Canadian Rhapsody" or maybe something overly dramatic like "Thunder and Hell in Chaynataun."😬 image 😬
