I don't know what to tell you—some people just lack any sense of logic. It’s like watching someone try to drive through downtown Chicago without knowing how a turn signal works; it’s frustrating, predictable, and honestly, just exhausting to witness. You see it happen over and over again, where people cling to these outdated ideas as if they were gospel, completely ignoring the reality staring them right in the face. It isn't about being contrarian for the sake of it; it's about actually looking at the facts instead of just reacting emotionally. If we can't have a conversation based on actual substance, then we might as well stop pretending this is a productive discussion.

What would a shirt design actually look like on a site like Redbubble? I’m talking about the color palette, the graphics, the typography, the spray-paint effects, the symbols—all of it.

It's just like being stuck on an Amtrak train!

My shirt only comes in XXL. 😬 :hitler: Forget those hellish scales, whatever they say... I don't care about my weight, just the price of groceries...
Anyway, around autumn, you should track down some Louis Armstrong. Probably the most powerful Cajun blues I've ever had the pleasure of hearing.

Oh, well, bravo! Thanks for the tip.
By the way, Tilda just gives me those endless autumn vibes to me, like it's just autumn forever...😬

hey, poetic license goes both ways... but honestly, if you want an infinity symbol, it should be a closed loop, like a graphic Uroboros, kind of like the one on the box they found Dave Lister in back on Deep Space...

Look, I’m sorry, but I honestly have zero memory of that episode happening. I was way too drunk to remember anything at all...

True, but you still have to account for positive or negative infinity...

Kevin Chavez3 said:Infinity is just an 8 turned ninety degrees, dammit.
Look, I didn't say it like that, but I tried to put the same idea across a bit more classily, you know, like how people used to talk back in the day when they actually had some style.
And the tilde is basically the same thing as the approximation sign, if I'm remembering right...

Yeah, and? Just mirror the tilde and you've got yourself an 8.
You’ve been acting pretty negative lately. Like, nineteen days straight, seriously... (it's getting old🙂

Yeah, it’s just two tildes running parallel to each other.
Honestly, what even is this debate...😬

lonebison37 said:Yeah, like two tildes side by side.
Two? Honestly, nowadays everyone just settles for one because it's easier. Just look at what Wikipedia says about it:
Mathematics
In mathematics, the tilde, often pronounced "twiddle," is often used to denote an equivalence relation between two objects. Thus x ~ y means x "is equivalent to" y (Note that this is quite different from stating that x equals y). Especially, it can be used to denote the asymptotical equality of two functions. For example, f(x) ~ g(x), means that limx→∞ f(x)/g(x) = 1.
In English, it is often used to mean "approximately". Therefore, ~10 would be "about 10". Similar symbols are used in mathematics, such as in π ≈ 3.14, "π is about equal to 3.14". Since the double-tilde (≈ ) is not available from the keyboard, the tilde (~) became a substitute when typing. There is also a triple-tilde (≋ ), which is used to show congruence.

Well, you aren't wrong there.🙂

I went to this high-level STEM academy back in the day, and for four straight years, we spent five hours a week just messing around with two little tildes to mean "approximately." Fedora 😠
oh well😁

Well, I guess I'm the outlier here.

Ah, but that post was written before my mood-boosting ritual—coffee, a cigarette, and the most insane anti-phi (not anti-fa) punk band on the planet. 🙂
I'm happy now. 😍
