Whoops, my bad! You should probably switch over to those polyacrylamide gels that run for 4 hours instead. 😁

If you keep up this level of nonsense, I'm out.

I mean, obviously—it’s different when you aren't seeing that barrel you're always pushing around upfront 😈

Man, what a total joke! 😎

But seriously, there’s a real chance I might head up north this Friday on business 😬 though honestly, it all depends on how things shake out. So, if you guys have anything interesting going on, let me know... 🎉

And that little scared kid peeking out from behind those water polo players? Pure comedy. What is it—a piece of art? Sure, the photo looks great on a wall. But let’s be real... 😁

😂

I mean—you'll probably end up taking Uncle Jack straight to Customs... or maybe somewhere for Ramadan... 😁

Look how fast 😬 😬

My ultimate Christmas wishlist (that I definitely won't be getting)
1. Nokia N90
2. A bike
3. A new iPod

Am I some kind of romantic or what? 🙂

First dinner, then...

Not like you. 😁

Dinner first—the whole deal—and then...

Not quite like you, though. 😁

Dude, you're my hero. 🙂

Now, let us rectify a massive injustice done to every true gourmet out there just a few pages back...

The people who actually understand what "good food" means—you know, the way grandmas in every corner of America define it—rather than those trendy, overly picky nutritionists with their weird little rules...

Without any specific order:

dinsdale
hollowseal33
Harold Wright54
ya:raan
Mr. Wrong
Abyss
narantxa
frankharrigan
moose

The Lifetime Achievement Award goes to the maestro, Sean Lee7, because the man simply possesses impeccable taste, refined manners, and a thirst that could probably supply a small town in Nebraska... An absolute hedonist who deserves the title of culinary artist before God and the entire American public.

A special honorable mention goes to dmj and Nicole Baker because—even though I don't personally know them—their public contributions clearly show they are true connoisseurs at heart. 🙂

I’m not even on the list because nobody ever bothers to include me. Maybe I’m just invisible? Sometimes I feel like Kevin Bannister (yeah, yeah, late night vibes)... 😢

I just polished off my second lunch of the day...

The ultimate list of Maria from San Francisco's grandma's cooking:

1. bean and sauerkraut stew
2. homemade gnocchi... the kind that falls apart. I always have traces of about five pieces left on my plate.
3. corn chowder
4. asparagus frittata (anyone can make it, but hers is the gold standard)
5. old bread soaked in egg and sugar

🙂 Grandma's food is always your favorite...

And honestly, even the local diner isn't bad.
