Clams? Man, you can't just ignore those. 😬

But let's be real, you're always eating them anyway.😁

If anyone actually caught this on film, hit me up via PM. I’m paying well!

Look, I know this isn't a movie forum, but I can't just sit here:
The film is incredible—it perfectly captures that sense of hyper-intensity and meticulously crafted set design.
It stripped away all that overwhelming alienation you usually see in Japanese cinema and just worked.

3. Windmill cookies

Božić: Definitely beef bourguignon and gnocchi! 👍 🙂
Christmas Eve: Octopus salad 🙂 I eat so much of that I can't even manage to try any cod.
Desserts: Anything my mother-in-law makes 😁 my own mom was never quite as talented in the kitchen. 😢

I am truly looking forward to returning to my childhood home for the holiday festivities and some lighthearted indulgence. 😈 🙂 🙂

Man, that looks incredible 🤤 ... though I usually think of that as more of a summer dish.🙂

The movie is alright, but I'm not really feeling those high-tech apartments and all that flashy glare everywhere. It felt a bit over-the-top for my taste...

But man, those guys, Miljenko was a total legend and the rest were just pure gold 😂 🤣 😂 🤣 😂 🤣

Haha, what is that? I've never tried it.

Oh, right... I think someone mentioned somewhere on this forum where to find maple syrup in Chicago. Does anyone happen to know?🙂

Oh, right... 😍 😍 Mikic is a legend... 🙂 I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve said he’s our finest young actor...
But Matanić went a bit overboard this time. That intro and the way they depicted so-called "Japan" was totally unnecessary, even if it was interesting for an it’s such a shame I have to resort to my lowest tactics American film... He managed to pull it off in the end, though. I recorded it, but on an old VHS tape—not sure how I’d even begin to teleport that to you...

uugh, they actually did it 🙂 lost my mind over this

Top 3 absolute worst parts of the holidays:

1. When you’re forced to send those fake-nice holiday cards to your friend's parents
2. When everyone keeps asking if you're finally going to eat the fancy seafood platter this year
3. When your family gets all worked up at you, and you realize you seriously never wanted to show up in the first place

Anyway—listen, man—have you maybe chilled out a little too much lately? Like, have you become this rude just because it's harder to get attention now? Is that it?

bakalaaar 😍 When will this Friday finally arrive? Or maybe Saturday? I am counting down the days until cod season hits the table.

There are really only two foods—if we are using my specific criteria of flavor intensity, pure culinary elegance, and that sense of rare indulgence—that can even compete with a perfect piece of cod:

1. Artichokes
2. High-end, expertly crafted sushi

I’m sure more will come to mind eventually.

A mortadella sandwich and a plain yogurt. Early in the morning. It has to be on fresh sourdough bread, and the mortadella doesn't even need olives. 🙂

Oh, come on, honey! Just grab dinner with Jaran and have him drop it off for me... In return, I'll buy you some pink and black lace lingerie! A bra too! With a little bow!

Here are my top 5 wildest headlines from this week's The New York Times:

5. Selena Gomez— WHO STOLE MY FUR COAT!!!
4. The owner of "SHAKIRA" just ordered fur-covered whips!
3. Collabs: Right after Puff Daddy, Ivo ključ was doing photo shoots for Šekib Mujanović
2. After some dancers got way too handsy, Gwen Stefani stormed off in a rage!
1. Elvis Presley is being followed by Džambaba!

Rick Lee said:The top two symptoms of the flu... if you can even call them that... it’s basically just feeling like you got hit by a freight train out of nowhere. First off, that bone-deep exhaustion that makes even reaching for the remote feel like running a marathon. And then there’s the fever—that sudden, shivering heat that makes you want to bury yourself under five blankets while simultaneously sweating through your sheets. It’s honestly miserable... just a total drain on your system...
The exact second I put those nasal drops in her nose, he just completely loses it... total meltdown.

😂

Honestly, I used to absolutely love being sick back in elementary school... there was just something about it.

It’s like when your mom brings you a Kinder Egg and whips up some hot cocoa just to see you smile, but instead of being happy, you just... shrug. You're just totally indifferent to the gesture...🙏Stay home and skip school... you know, that school where you act like such a total overachiever that nobody else can stand you anyway... instead, just sit there and watch TV. 🙂
Man, I swear, nothing quite prepares you for the absolute chaos of childhood flu seasons... those days were brutal. Honestly, I kind of miss that level of intensity sometimes, though maybe not the fever dreams. There was just something about being stuck in bed, completely wiped out, while the world kept moving outside... anyway, yeah. Just thinking back to those old school flu outbreaks.

Mom would bring you Kinder Eggs and make hot cocoa just to cheer you up. You'd just hang out at home, skipping school—where you were kind of a nerd anyway and the other kids weren't your biggest fans—and just watch TV all day. 🙏 🙂
Man, I miss childhood flu seasons!

It turns out childhood was so great that you actually look back on the flu with nostalgia. My last bout of the flu hit me so hard I couldn't even see the TV, let alone follow a show. 😁

Guess I'm just getting old. Though, honestly, the idea of being pampered and lazy sounds pretty good right about now. 😁
