Nicholas Perez33 said:The ultimate checklist for chocolate additions:
1. Peanuts
2. Cinnamon
3. Almonds or Hazelnuts
4. Vanilla
5. Chili or Pepper

And here is a list of things that absolutely do NOT belong in chocolate, for crying out loud:
1. Dried fruit 🙂
2. Fruit yogurt

The absolute best pairing (provided it's dark chocolate): Orange

I am in complete agreement with everything else mentioned here.

Regarding that whole orange and chocolate thing... how has nobody at Patagonia not printed a t-shirt that says "Dip me in chocolate and throw me to the lesbians" yet? It would suit them perfectly 😁

The four absolute worst nicknames that, thankfully, didn't stick...

1. Grumpy Bug (or just "Bug" for short)
2. Trash Can
3. Johnny
4. Little Wolf

Daniel Bailey7 said:My ranking of the new snack bar flavors:

1. Strawberry
2. Banana
3. Milk
4. Hazelnut

🙂

Does anyone actually eat these things? It’s basically just the cheap junk they handed out during recess in elementary school.
All I can say is🙂

The ultimate ways to absolutely wreck yourself🤮

1. Chugging massive amounts of cheap wine paired with endless bowls of peanuts and chips.🤮 🙂 Just a long, slow descent into misery.
2. Bottom-shelf vodka mixed with hookah—🙂 you’ll have a migraine lasting until 4:30 PM tomorrow, and honestly, neither the smell nor the taste will be worth it.
3. Homemade moonshine—it’s basically a genocide against your brain cells,😵 which will be praying for mercy by sunrise.
4. A heavy BBQ session combined with wine, beer, and liquor in "reasonable" amounts—assuming you don't pass out.🙂 You'll deal with catastrophic heartburn,🙂 and depending on the alcohol ratio, a high probability of disaster in the bathroom.🙂
5. Cheap, mass-produced spirits from brands like Smirnoff or Jack Daniel's, used in any combination.🙂 We still haven't fully researched the long-term damage these can do.😕

Oh well, it’s probably too late now since I’ve gone full punk rocker again!😬

Timothy Jones85 said:I’ll add my two cents to this... chocolate in yogurt... that disastrous attempt by Danone that they started dumping into the cafeteria after what I think was a total marketing fail.🙂

Aside from dried fruit, I can't stand rice in chocolate (if you can even call that Styrofoam stuff "rice"🙄 ).

Chocolate in yogurt...? Sounds interesting. Honestly, I'm almost certain I'd actually enjoy it. 😛
But chocolate with dried fruit—specifically raisins—combined with hazelnuts? Now we're talking. 🙂
(And yeah, I agree about the Styrofoam)

Drinking coffee—pure decadence—bitter taste, fried neurons,

Had some pork for lunch—Wienerschnitzel—God won't forgive me,

At the office, I mostly ended up snacking on someone else's Kandit rice chocolates (not Mikado!?),

I’ve been stubbornly trying out kebab spots in the East Side neighborhood, but honestly, nothing beats a good burger,

I still think a vegetarian diet would suit me best right about now (the good krsni chef is in Oregon, USA),

Thinking about swinging by "the Toasters",

I think I'll head over to Broadway Tkalč soon for "Crossing The Bridge : The sound of Istanbul",

Listening to (not while at work) Erase Errata and Routineers, with a few early, messy singles from Josef K. to balance things out,

A bit disappointed with the Bomb—nitpicking again, I know,

Pezzati Raygun used to sing "Muscle beach is now Pork Chop Hill"—man, what a great image!,

Realized that one of the songs of the year (even if the album isn't) is the Wedding Present's "I'm fra further North Than you".

e.g. Pegboy - in The Pantry of The Mountain King (in my head)

e.g. nothing (reality)

The absolute #1 chocolate I’d kill for:

1. anything with caramelized hazelnuts 🙂

Man, the list would honestly be way longer if I could think straight—but right now, I can't even recall a single vegan option that holds a candle to this one.

Lunch was pork—a Wienerschnitzel—pretty sure God’s still judging me for that one.

Spent most of my time at the office raiding someone else’s stash of Kandit rice chocolates (not Mikado, obviously).

Been hitting up kebab spots on the East Side, but honestly? Nothing beats a good burger.

Still thinking a vegetarian diet might be the move right now (that killer Christian cook moved to Oregon, USA).

Thinking about swinging by "the Toasters."

Might catch "Crossing The Bridge : The sound of Istanbul" over at Broadway Theater soon.

Like Pegboy - in The Pantry of The Mountain King (stuck in my head).

Like nothing (reality).

pegboy-Still Uneasy is the hit of the day.

Uhh, sounds delicious 🙂 😍

Best orange chocolates 😬:
1. Hershey's
2. Lindt 2. Swiss Delica Quote

Just some cheap biscuit snack covered in chocolate that falls apart instantly. Looks like they pivoted to a new demographic—if it's not good enough for high schoolers, it'll definitely fly with broke college students. 😬

What's your deal? It's not trash, just... niche. Honestly, Oreo is the gold standard anyway.🙂

Look, Hershey's is one of those things... for some people, it’s practically a religion, but for others, it’s just 🙂
honestly, in my entire life, I haven't been able to finish a single bar—it's such a mediocre, disappointing candy 😛

My palate just can't handle this cheap crap they serve to the common crowd. 🥳

Gonna go demolish another bar of Hershey's. Intense Orange Hershey's, and if I get lucky, maybe I'll even stumble upon some stray Duc D'O. truffle 😉
