Look, raisins and marzipan are basically at opposite ends of the food quality spectrum. There’s nothing—and I mean nothing—more revolting than a plain raisin, and there’s nothing better than marzipan. It’s just facts...

Used to hate them too, but after five days hiking the Rocky Mountains, they actually grew on me. Just don't eat them in cookies or chocolate—eat them plain. 😉

Since I’m a guy, I can't exactly wear them myself. So, first thing on my list is finding some unlucky girl to fall for—once she's my girlfriend, I'll buy her these tees:

1. Slayer (using that old-school band logo. It runs large, so it’s perfect for a slim build. Black with silver-white screen printing. Really nice.)

2. Mayhem (exactly the same specs as above, just with the white logo)

Saw them at Amoeba Music today.

They were playing "Youth Are Getting Restless" by Bad Brains.

All I can say is🙂

They’re still serving that junk for snacks in elementary schools. I pulled my kids out of the school lunch program—not just because of that, but because the food is straight-up gross—so now I have to meal prep at home. But seriously, those Cocoa Puffs are REVOLTING. Last time I tried them, back around 1985, it was traumatic. Still haven't recovered, so no thanks, I'm not trying them again.

My top favorite things to wear
1. Burgundy boots with a 4-inch heel. Impossible to walk in—so I rarely wear them—but when I do, it's a vibe.
2. A leather jacket—not a punk or biker style, just a vintage, mustard-colored one with a peeling lining, but I love it.
3. My watch—even though half the city has one—and my great-grandmother's ring, which I'm sure nobody else owns.

edit: jelly beans are better than marzipan🙂
