You're such a villain, 😢

My dentist has three gorgeous assistants—total bombshells—always wearing skirts and shiny tights. Honestly, if anyone's looking for a recommendation, I can drop the address. I'd say a little dental pain is totally worth it.😁

Carol Jackson45 said:Here are 7 of the absolute worst songs to play on an acoustic guitar at a house party (in no particular order):

1. Walking on Sunshine
2. Wild World
3. To Be With You
4. Proud Mary
5. Hotel California
6. Knockin' on Heaven's Door
7. '74-'75

Throw in some Creedence Clearwater Revival, maybe some Billy Joel... honestly, I just despise these amateur guitar sessions at parties. And why is it always the person with the most grating voice who feels the need to shout the loudest?

A friend of mine actually confessed to me that they had karaoke going during New Year's Eve. She was totally against singing at first because—let’s be real—she sounds terrible. But then she polished off a few too many drinks, grabbed the mic, and refused to let go. After absolutely butchering Faith No More, Aretha, and a few other classics, she went full diva on "November Rain" while her buddy played a live guitar solo. They eventually had to snatch the mic away from her and ban karaoke indefinitely.🤣

Guilty as charged. 🙂

I used to feel bad about being loud, especially since one friend in our group sings like an angel (everyone just stops talking to listen), but for the last few years, I’ve stopped caring and just belt it out like a maniac... 😬

My Top 3 Hangovers:

1. After a party in Key West two years ago where two days later I was absolutely wrecked in bed (shoutout to my buddy for letting me crash at his place in that gorgeous town).
2. A week after that, at my parents' 50th birthday bash. I stumbled in at 7 AM, wasted and soaked because I tried to take a shower while it was thundering outside. My sickly pale skin looked great against my fancy pink dress.
3. New Year's Eve during my junior year of high school. Got home at 11 AM, just in time for family lunch. Result: ate two dumplings, took the worst photos ever, and developed a permanent hatred for rum mixed with Coke.

Yeah, I'd swap Christina Martinez too. And I don't just mean her music— 😛

Gosh, if I had to pick someone to swap, I guess I'd go with Jonah. 🙂

Just as long as we don't all decide to switch things up at the exact same time. 😬

Well, actually, yeah... I do. Those first two (on the 😎 discs) and all those early Nine Inch Nails tracks—the Recapitulations and similar collections of raw, unpolished stuff—I really love them, and I find myself listening quite often. I'll admit they wouldn't be particularly interesting to me if it weren't for the concept, but the way they're presented makes them absolutely irresistible.

My top New Year's surprises so far:
Tax stuff:
- First off, I’m paying $7 for those burgers instead of the usual $4. Great.
- Then my gym membership jumps from $20 to $30 overnight. Just lovely.
Other nonsense:
- Cops pulling me over just to demand I wear some neon reflective vest (new citation 👋 🙂 ).
- A virus is basically gonna brick my computer completely within the next two hours.
- Got an exam scheduled right on Eid (which means it's landing in Boston, yeah right).
- And I've got zero cash left in my pocket.
