Regina said:5. That ranch in the middle of nowhere. Or was that during the winter vacation at Jakobsfeld? 🤔

It’s the ranch. There isn't even a series for the winter vacation, just a standalone movie, but you're conflating them because they share the same crew—specifically because of Slavko Štimac—and honestly, they follow a logical progression anyway.

Actually, now that Škoro and this one with the zipper—excuse me, the transducer—are overlapping, Škoro looks like he’s trying to push something 😁

Anyone seen The Prisoner? I heard it’s actually worth a watch.

🙂 Cicdey, grab it and pass it on!!!

Is The Prisoner that old British show? It's been forever since I read anything about it—ugh, I don't even know how to describe it, I guess.

@basil: Space Above and Beyond—man, just one season and they basically kill off almost everyone by the end. Total spectacle!

And as for cartoons: M.A.S.K.—Mobile Armor Strike Kommand—and their enemies V.E.N.O.M., which stands for Vicious Evil Network of Mayhem.😂 I'll start a whole new thread if anyone's interested.😉

Is The Prisoner that elderly British lady?

Man, they even wrote a song about her. It seems like everything else has been turned into a ballad lately.🤔

As for M.A.S.K., 🙏 I used to watch Transformers and Masters of the Universe on various international channels all the time; I never actually understood what was going on, but there were plenty of explosions and robots, which was more than enough to keep me entertained.🙂

For me? It was just massive hype. Everyone watched it and thought it was hilarious, while I just found it stupid and boring.

Hey everyone.

btw has anyone actually tuned into Channel A over the last couple of years (maybe even still?) and caught that one gay—and I mean legitively gay—series? What was it called again, I just can't wrap my head around the title... anyway, it used to air on Friday nights and I absolutely loved it. And that guy, he was soooooooo incredibly handsome....... 😳 😳 😳 oh my god! 🙏 🙏
there is zero chance he's actually gay in real life.......... 😈 😈 😈

Honestly, it’s probably the only series from my childhood that I could still sit down and binge today without feeling any cringe. (And I'm not even counting those Chuck Jones shorts or anything in that vein; those are just classics by default.)

Honestly, who has the time to read all this? Last time I checked the "personal stories" section, people were rambling about their high school teachers🙄 so I just tucked this thread away in the archives😬

You're not even close 😬

Moving on.

Things I can't stand about people from NYC:
1. being cold
2. zero sense of humor
3. being super touchy
4. that annoying hometown pride

Other things I hate about people from Miami:
1. being lazy
2. stubbornness
3. hating anything new
4. that same hometown pride

And the rest of the traits I hate about my college:
1. snobbery
2. acting superior for no reason
3. pure arrogance

In a bad mood today. image

Traits I love about myself that drive everyone else crazy:
1. pessimism
2. cynicism
3. being high-strung

Queer as Folk. 😍 What friends, when that exists... It's wonderful—truly great. The only thing was, the explicit scenes were a bit much for me to watch. 😳

I just realized I actually know the names of all those soap operas on our TV channels:
(in no particular order)

1. Love is Priceless (ABC)
2. A Father's Love (FOX)
3. Unyielding Love (NBC)
4. Love in the Heartland (CBS)
5. Love at Stake (USA Network)
6. Forbidden Love (CW)

😲

🤣

Man, I thought those silly old cliches like "the guy from the Midwest has rosy cheeks, while the guy from Cali wears a gold chain" were considered harmless fun for everyone...😬

And honestly, it’s not just those folks—it’s anyone from those small beach towns...

The real issue is they have zero sense of direction and can't follow simple directions to save their lives. For crying out loud, someone tells them, "Go straight for two blocks, then turn right at the post office, and the bus stop is right across from there..." I mean, seriously?! Have you ever heard of an actual street address or a house number?! 😠

It's ridiculous—you bring them from a tiny little seaside village into a massive American metro area, surrounded by asphalt and endless traffic, and they immediately lose their minds. Back home, everything is easy—the ocean is right there, the boardwalk is right there, everything is within a hundred yards of each other. But here in a place like Chicago? There's no ocean, and they can't even find their way back to their own apartment. They're just completely lost! 🙄
