Sandra Chase16 said:1. Two guys who were crying and hugging, covered in blood. You could tell from the story they got into a fight, and one ended up knocking out the other's teeth. Then the first guy felt terrible and said he'd give his own teeth just to fix the other guy's smile. In the end, they agreed the first guy would be the godfather to the second guy's kid.

Were those gold teeth?

lol, I should've asked my dad last night if he wants to be my son's godfather 😬 (my new bestie smilies)

Sandra Chase16 said:One of my buddies puts tuna in everything! He’ll take some chicken pasta and just dump a whole can of tuna in there. We were grilling pork chops once and he actually asks if I have any tuna to top it with.

Personally, I'm down with it. 😍

There was a point where I was adding sugar to basically everything. I realized I'd gone way too far when I started putting sugar on my salmon. 😳

You guys have lost it. Tuna shouldn't even be eaten like that, and adding sugar to savory food is a bigger crime than putting raisins in a cookie cake

Is swapping sugar for honey actually doing anything for me?🙂

So, are we really heading into another marzipan versus raisin showdown?

It’s a bit of a bummer, but I decided to put together a little list of my absolute favorite old-school tracks—you know, those classic MP3 files I managed to snag from a friend a while back:

1. from cvika:
Dazzling Killmen, High on Fire, Melvins, Pere Ubu, and The Jesus Lizard... plus some Shellac and LCD Soundsystem thrown in there for good measure. Man, if that isn't a killer lineup, I don't know what is! Just look at that list and tell me you aren't impressed.

2. from Cody:
I was just thinking about all those little things that seem to pop up out of nowhere—you know, like finding a stray flipper by the pool or seeing those early autumn posies starting to bloom. It makes me wonder if we're actually ready for fall, or if we're all just pretending while we scramble for our raincoats. It’s funny how life works in these strange intervals, almost like those "go betweens" you find in conversation. One minute you're dealing with the mundane stuff—like a leaky faucet or even just noticing the windshield wipers on your car need replacing—and the next, you're caught up in something grander, like a beautiful wedding present or a quiet moment at a local cathedral. Even the most ordinary sights, like the architecture of a public restroom or a quick stop at a stadium, somehow fit into the rhythm of it all. I guess everything just has its own place in the sequence, doesn't it? Maybe it's all just part of the grand design!
Aside from Go Betweens and The Raincoats, everything else seems to be hitting the mark perfectly. Thanks, Krešo! 👋

3. from mainscreama:
I was just sitting here thinking about William Shatner and his whole vibe on Survivor—or rather, how that kind of legendary energy would play out in a reality TV setting! It’s such an interesting thought experiment, isn't it? I guess you have to wonder if someone with that much presence could actually stay grounded when things get intense in the wild. Maybe he'd be the ultimate strategist, or maybe he'd just be too much of a larger-than-life character for the tribal council dynamics. Either way, I imagine it would be absolutely riveting to watch! 🙂 Maybe it’s just me, but I feel like there's this certain knack some people have—you know, those Ukrainians—for really tapping into a specific kind of energy. It reminds me a bit of that classic Spinal Tap vibe, where everything is just slightly over the top but somehow works. I was thinking about Manuel Motten even earlier today, and it sort of brought to mind that iconic chemistry between Nimoy and Shatner; you just can't replicate that kind of dynamic. I guess I've also been reminiscing about seeing Husker Dü live, which had such a raw, unfiltered power to it. It's almost like the electronic pulse of Cybotron mixed with the smoother, more melodic layers of Soft Boys. Just a few random thoughts swirling around my head! 🙏

Cimer and I had scrambled eggs with tuna and olives the day before yesterday. It was actually pretty decent. What exactly is a lungić? Some kind of lung meat? 🤔

Sour cream on everything, without fail.

Healthy living, right? Erik Sumo was basically just wandering aimlessly through the grocery store:

1. Tomatoes
2. Cheese
3. Salad greens
4. Cucumbers
5. Onions—what a mess
6. Bananas
7. Bell peppers

+

Nutella, pastries, and some extra toilet paper... just in case.

Just sit there, you idiot—memories

I finally cleared out the chicken, potatoes, and stuffing... The usual routine. A massive hangover + roast chicken in the oven + watching *Field of Dreams* on TV = Sunday. 😍

Still not quite cooked through, damn it. 🙂

So, the main topic on the forum right now is basically who’s sacrificing what for the holiday. Tomorrow’s the big feast day, isn't it?

I swear, those organic snack brands are huge with the younger crowd who wouldn't know a tractor from a Tesla. I feel like I see them everywhere I turn.

David Sullivan4, I can't believe 😲 you actually left 😲 😬

Who's catching Narnia on TV tonight?

My top 2 all-time favorite hockey players:

1. Paul Kariya (LW) 🙏 🙏 🙏 😍
2. Mats Sundin (C) 🙏 🙏 🙂

Since we're already going down this rabbit hole, I might as well round out the full lineup—forwards, defense, and goalie included:

Miroslav Satan (RW)
Nicklas Lidstrom (D)
Chris Pronger (D)
Tommy Salo (G) 🙏 🙏 (backup—Martin Brodeur)

It’s honestly criminal they didn't pick Kariya for the Olympics 🙂

My top recent hauls from my trip to Chicago a few days ago:

1. The perfect band tee—though it just lists the instruments instead of names. It’s pretty much universal 😍 + it’s adorable in its own way. Though, honestly, it looks like it was soaked in absinthe at some point, but it's practically glowing in the bleach. Maybe it'll survive.
2. A black balloon straight out of a French noir film. It complements my tired eyes and distant, melancholic stare perfectly. Plus, I suspect it’ll serve quite well for scaring small children, 😬
3. Black boots featuring a subtle classic Americana detail. I’ve been waiting for something exactly like this for ages.
4. A necklace I spotted and immediately thought, 'this looks exactly like my brain, and now I can wear it around my neck.' Completely chaotic. Stunning. Beyond words. You really have to see it. 😍 😵

I can personally vouch for this. Veri 😍
