dmj said:There was a time when I couldn't stand fruit yogurt. I honestly thought it was just stuff for little kids.

BUT THEN CAME MY REVELATION, AND I FINALLY GRASPED THE ABSOLUTE TRUTH HIDDEN WITHIN THOSE THICK TEXTURES AND MASSIVE CHUNKS OF REAL FRUIT!

NOW, FULLY CONVERTED AND DEVOUT, I KNOW THE TRUTH:

IN THIS WORLD OF DECAYING MORAL STANDARDS, FRUIT YOGURT IS LITERALLY THE LAST REMAINING VIRTUE WE HAVE LEFT!

😲 Perhaps it would be more prudent if I simply retired for the evening.

Oh, how I agree.
My craving for one (maybe with a bit of granola) this morning is absolutely overwhelming. πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

Tinchi said:So, we're talking pancakes?
1. lemon and sugar
2. Nutella
3. chocolate chips
4. savory meat filling
5. baked with cheese

πŸ™‚

1. That works for me.
2. Actually, jamβ€”though it really depends on my mood (plum or apricot are always top tier).
3. I could go with option 2.
4. Option 5, but add some walnuts.
5. Quince or apple jam plus cocoa (or maybe some melted chocolate).

My bad!
I forgot to mention that there’s a whole other category above everything else: pancakes in Napa Valley (doesn't even matter what they're filled with). But you have to go during the off-season when the town is basically a ghost town and those pancakes are the only thing keeping the 15 chefs and 23 servers from losing their minds.

Narantxa said:Top 5 bands you shouldn't play if you want to get on Kevin Chavez3's bad side:

1. Sunny Day Real Estate
2. pop Group
3. Xiu Xiu
4. The Hives
5. Dead Milkmen

Sunny Day Real Estate and Xiu Xiu were easy enough guesses, but the rest... I have a soft spot for pop Group, even if they still exhaust me. I couldn't care less about The Hivesβ€”never been my thing. As for the Dead Milkmen, I still haven't listened to them. Cheap provocations like this aren't going to make me spin their records just yet...😁

😍

Billboard Top 100 stuff (who cares?):

1. Permafrost
2. The Great Beautician in the Sky
3. Burst
4. Parade
5. Feed the Enemy
6. A Song from Under the Floorboards
7. This Poison
8. The Light Pours Out of Me
9. About the Weather
10. Give me Everything

Both of them look far too good
and honestly, I can't decide if I prefer the crispy top layer or the fatty bottom part when it comes to a MusakaπŸ™‚

Hmm. Everything except "Twenty Years ago." 😁

Musaka law above law.

Jason Chavez32's last post was even more ridiculous...

Musaka is law, don't be like that. Though, if fruit yogurt was called meat yogurt, it would still be good...πŸ™‚

Or what if we had mayonnaise yogurt instead?

I was actually sitting there late one night thinking about some truly absurd ultra-processed food conceptsβ€”like, say, sandwich pΓ’tΓ©. 😁

Man, I had one of those processed food ideas late last night... a sandwich made of pÒté.😁

Oh yeah. I'll patent the sandwich made of sandwiches once I figure it out.😁

Musaka tastes great, but the presentation is hideous. It looks like my mother's cookies...

Meat pancakes? 😲

Sounds like some kind of Mongolian specialty. :kublajkan-rigoleto:

This music forum is turning into a music-and-foodie hybrid
I’m proposing that alongside any album release, we also list a dish that pairs perfectly with that specific sound.
For example, New Bomb Turks - Veronica Lake -> chili chocolate

I doubt anyone would say I have an issue with the Mongols.

Xenophobia? No.

Culinary fascism? Absolutely.
