Count me in for some burgers and a trip to Interliber! Tomorrow’s my day off, so I figured I’d celebrate properly—lunch is on me, obviously.

Can we please move past all this bickering? 🙄

Here are my top 5 essentials for getting out of bed in the morning:

1. White Stripes - Apple Blossom
2. Sonic Youth - Kissability
3. Violent Femmes - Add It Up
4. Shelter - Empathy
5. Frank Black - Selkie Bride

Kevin Chavez3 said:Man, just take me along for some BBQ and the Interliber book fair! Tomorrow’s a total wash anyway, so I might as well go out with a bang. I'm buying, so don't worry about the tab.

You shouldn't say things like that when I'm around. 😁

I finally get what gentlepuma20 was getting at now. When she said "he eats lamb like it's popcorn," it actually clicked. Look, that's fine. Hedonism is the way to live, just watch your blood sugar. Exercise regularly. Stay hydrated.

Anyway, I'll catch you guys at the state fair this Saturday around noon. If you're down, let's grab some meat, pizza, or tofu afterward.

If that’s really what she said, then she doesn't know me at all. Lamb isn't really my thing. I know this is going to make people angry, but there's nothing else I can say. I just don't like it....

It’s funny to think about... if they ever released those lists of banned songs for US radio stations, you know, like how things changed here after 9/11. You'd probably hear tracks like "my white swan," "my seagull," or "blue pigeon." And then there'd be that one super dark, ominous song, "all little bird burn."😁

I'm coming too.🙂

Lamb is gross. It smells terrible.

Hey, I told you that by this time next year, you'd finally have your driver's license.😬

What did I even say? 🤔
I can't quite remember—but I know for a fact he isn't a fan of lamb. Period.
Anyway, you should see how he snacks on popcorn... Katrina and Vilma don't even stand a chance...

Lamb from New Zealand smells like a monkey cage at the zoo. Something from Texas or maybe Kansas would smell way better. 🙂

I spent half my childhood thinking those poor birds in the song actually burned up—it wasn't until I was like 14 or 15 that I realized they were just coming from the hill.

Dead Carrot said:How do all those brainless magazines—you know, stuff like Men's Health, Eternal Girl, My Beer, My Bathroom, My Phone, whatever—actually sell, while comics just... don't? I refuse to believe there are more people buying Men's Health than actual comic books.

It’s because people wouldn't actually buy a comic—they'd just borrow it from someone else instead.😠

I guess my own masochism drove me to pick up Griffin yesterday (it's subtitled as an American fantasy magazine, if you can believe that) and now I just sit there enjoying their sheer incompetence every single time I head to the restroom.😁

Just for the sake of illustration, I'll tell you they have typos and spelling mistakes right on the front cover.🙏

Here are my Mickey top 3 comic titles that occasionally show up at American newsstands:

1. Q (this one was actually regular until just recently)
2. Nathan Never (I'm torn between a two or three-month release cycle here)
3. Ultimate Spider-Man/Ultimate X-Men (these issues take a summer break that somehow stretches through most of autumn, plus they have the worst translations I've ever seen—not to mention the X-Men writer deserves the most painful death imaginable)

You didn't say anything, obviously. God, you people are such saints; you can't even have a decent argument among yourselves. Mickey top 3 😍

1. standards
2. test icicles
3. pelican

I think it took me even longer to catch on to that...😁 I used to spend so much time picturing those birds actually catching fire while they flew.😲

Voltaren, Ketonal, Advil, and Aspirin mixed with bourbon for the guys.
Voltaren rapid paired with some strawberry guava smoothie for the ladies.
