my tooth is killing me... honestly, I don't think I'm getting any sleep tonight...

Anyone got a solid recommendation for pain relievers?!

I used to have this one tooth that constanty acted up. It’s dead now so it finally stopped, but I know it would start throbbing again if I ate some Oreos. Give it a shot. Unless you're still stuck on that broccoli diet.

For me, it clicked the second I heard the next line.πŸ€”

Dana Anderson4 said:I spent half my childhood thinking those poor birds in the song were actually burntβ€”it didn't really click for me until I was maybe 14 or 15 that they were just coming down from the hills.

The lightbulb finally went off for me this past Monday, 😡
and I didn't even figure it out on my ownβ€”my dad, my four-year-old sister, and I were listening to it in the car, and when I mentioned how weird it was to have such a dark theme in a kid's song, my dad just lost it laughing.😡
😡In my head, I kept picturing the Rockies, with a single tree in front of them and about ten birds sitting on a branch, where all but one were actually on fireβ€”except for the survivor, obviously.

if we and I ever actually clash, it certainly won't be over dietary stuff 😁

as for tablets, I'm sticking with Folgers πŸ™

Look, regarding Heller's work, I can live with "something happened." It’s messy and feels a bit disorganized, but I wouldn't call it *bad*. That said, I don't think I'll ever pick it up again; it’s just far too bleak for my taste.

A list of all-time great PC games:

1. Syndicate

2. Sensible Soccer
3. Doom
4. Warlords
5. Warcraft

Man, I am seriously bummedβ€”my Windows XP machines won't even run Sensible Soccer anymore, and honestly, neither will Liero... just totally dead.

Total classics 😳 πŸ˜‚

But if we're talking about the single greatest game ever made for two players fighting it out on one keyboard with a split-screen? Hands down:

1. Liero

I mean... it's definitely better than "The Fire Next Time" or "A Man Worth His Salt"β€”though that last one is packed with those brilliant Kissinger's nonsense bits. The part that really stuck with me was: "I feel like a lonely cowboy riding into town at the head of my troops." 😁 πŸ™„ Nothing compared to what Hebrang was pulling yesterday, but still pretty entertaining...

Not really. I always say pain is just a friend keeping you company. πŸ™‚

Man, how many keyboards were destroyed back then?
That Gauss gun... πŸ™ πŸ™ πŸ™

A quick list of things my buddies or I smashed after losing a heated round of Mortal Kombat 3:

1. Punching the monitor, throwing the monitor at the wall, creating a hole in the drywall
2. Jamming the controller into the corner of the desk until it got stuck
3. Slamming the keyboard onto the floor and sending half the keys flying

Man, I think I actually broke my keyboard typing this out
that gauss gun πŸ™ πŸ™ πŸ™

I mean, they played it so much that everything just boiled down to nothing but Gauss guns (three times!) and Spikeballs (twice), and then they basically nerfed those two and randomized the loadouts during selection... wouldn't that bring some actual excitement back to the game?

And when you crank the blood splatter up to 500% 😁

My top 5 absolute worst Liero weapons:

1. RB Rampage
2. Mini Rockets
3. Grenade (along with that other grenadeβ€”you know, the one whose name escapes me right now)
4. Uzi
5. One of those rifles or Winchesters that was just completely useless

My personal all-time favorites when it comes to weapons in 1. Big Nuko:

1. 1. Big Nuko (otherwise known as the "cake")
2. 2. Missile
3. 3. laser

Does that stuff actually run on your XP, or have you managed to find a decent workaround for it?

Does that actually run on Windows XP for you? Or did you find some decent substitute?

There is no substitute for this game!!! (Seriously, don't make me increase the font size here πŸ™‚ )

And honestly, your weapon choice is just... 😱 😳

I was thinking maybe someone who actually reads Cosmo could put together a top 10 list of ten pieces of advice. Today I came across an article titled: "Trendsetters, blow them away: 10 new fashion trends to watch."

Give me a break.
