Bicycles are king. You guys are idiots. 🙂>

LOL

*literally dying laughing*

The absolute worst parts of life are doing the dishes, ironing clothes, and washing the car. Gross. Just gross.

But let's be real, you idiots—you claim to be such a nation of athletes. Personally, I’d love to see us adopt something like they have in Germany, where kids have to pass a mandatory bike riding and swimming exam at the end of second grade. Honestly, most of you wouldn't even make it through elementary school under those standards.

Good grief, I thought non-swimmers only existed in Iowa or Kansas.
Go learn, man. It’s a fantastic pastime.

Good grief, I was under the impression that people who couldn't swim were strictly limited to Iowa or Kansas.

I once met a girl from Belarus who didn't know how to swim at all.

Man, I honestly thought non-swimming was something you only saw in Iowa or Kansas.
Come on, man, get with the program. It’s actually a great way to spend time.

Childhood trauma, clearly. 😢
Fortunately, I'm not quite that old yet. There's still hope for me.🙂

My current ranking of the best pizzas in Washington, D.C.:

1.
Some cheap ham from Germany you find at the local grocery store, on a 2-for-1 special for like twelve bucks!
It really shouldn't be a mystery which of the usual suspects—price, quantity,
and quality—is actually leading the pack here.
I can't find a single pizzeria in this city that would charge me enough to $12 actually ruin my life like *six* of them would.
🙂

Man, why did I have to go looking at those bikes 😢 😢 😢 and here I am, still scraping together cash for a new ride... my old one is basically totaled after a nasty wreck, and I completely trashed my fixie 🙂

Say whatever you want—whether you think they look flashy or not—but THIS is hands down the wildest set of bikes I've ever seen! 🙏

And while we’re talking about food, the catering from Papa John's was incredible. We had those mixed pizzas, thirty-five bucks a pop, and honestly, if they weren't perfect, I'd be pissed. But man, they were delicious... 🙂

Unbelievable. Pizza in NYC is getting ridiculous. In most other US cities, you can grab a slice for under $10

ari peka nikkola said:...I’m thinking back to some absurd American movie from the late eighties set at a spa resort (where Nikola Tesla and Mickey Mouse play these flamboyant characters). There's this one scene where Gene Simmons goes chasing after a group of guys. I don't remember all the specifics, but I do remember him getting so fed up that he just hurls his bike somewhere and yells, "unspecified." Honestly, that one line perfectly captures my entire philosophy on bikes.

Americans are just obsessed with their own quirks from birth. What was that ridiculous movie called? I need a distraction. This constant monotony, the apathy, the endless loops, the robots, the leaden skies... It's draining. To make matters worse, my old bike got completely trashed, so I had to sell it. It almost feels like Gene Simmons put a curse on me. Such a shame.

From that list, I’m only really good at ice skating and blowing bubbles. 😁
I’m honestly thanking Dear God for the latter—mostly because it is easily one
of the absolute most irritating tasks for people of all ages... just truly awful.

Here are a few bikes I’m eyeing.

For instance,
this piece of junk. If I had five grand sitting around right now, I'd go grab it in a heartbeat.

This frame is also on my list.

And I wouldn't mind this one either...

That's it.

Well, we actually have swimming tests—my kids went through them last year.
Back when I was in grade school, they tested us on swimming and sent us off to bike safety classes.
And man, we used to have those full physical checkups too—they'd look for flat feet or scoliosis... you don't see that in schools anymore. Too much budget cutting.

Reminds me of that old comedy bit where they say, "Germans are so precise, German medicine is the best in the world." Well, if it were up to me, I'd scrap the bikes and Germany along with sports, just like Colonel Gaddafi🙂.

unknown said:Those Mexicans have been obsessed since day one. What kind of mindless movie is this? I just need something fun to watch. This whole routine of monotony, apathy, endless loops, robots, and lead-colored skies is wearing me down... Plus, my old bike got totally trashed so I had to sell it. It feels like I got cursed by some bad luck. Such a bummer.

Honestly, I don't know, all I remember is that scene where unknown steals a wig from unknown at the pool, and this guy is swimming after him while some caricature yells, "Pele, give me my wig back! Pele, don't make me mad!" Just total trashy comedy. You're right though, could use something like that...
