Pure "Bully Mode" energy right here.

btw... which one of Milton’s buddies was that guy from Springfield trying to drown in a livestock trough just to be an asshole?

ari peka nikkola said:I honestly think anyone who skipped the Zero Gravity concert is significantly sharper than I am.😁 Seriously—it was basically a blues band playing at a high school reunion.

Which brings me back to my point. It's the same story in New York as it is here...😬

Here are the top 3 reasons I seriously considered buying a bazooka and two angry Dobermans today:

1. Dealing with government offices that close at 1:30 PM, even though I didn't roll up until 1:45 PM. 🙂 🙂 Seriously—the sheer incompetence of federal agencies and their "operating hours"

2. A massive transit delay out in the suburbs, which forced me to sprint across a busy boulevard toward a bus while cars were practically trying to mow me down.

3. People on public transit who are just... indescribably moronic.

The result? That knee pain I’ve been dealing with has spread to my entire leg, so now I'm officially limping my way through life. 🙂 🙂

*I haven't heard it—but since I know you lot on this forum live for those massive, earth-shaking riffs, please, give me a quick breakdown...

By the way, "they" is both father and mother.

Dana Anderson4 said:A girl from my office was telling me about her dad back in the seventies in Boston. He ran into some guy who just comes up and starts hurling insults at him out of nowhere. Her dad, being the gentleman he is, basically told him to back off, but the guy just kept doubling down, acting like a total jerk. It’s wild how people used to act like animals.

If he had flipped the script and insulted the guy back, he probably would've ended up in a fight anyway. It wasn't just happening in Boston either; you'd see the same kind of aggressive types in New York or Chicago. We all grew up hearing stories from our parents about those neighborhood tough guys who lived for nothing but trouble.
Even though some people claim there was a certain "spirit" to that era, personally, I don't miss that chaos at all.👋

Our guys had soul. Yours didn't.

I don't give a damn because they're still around. 😬 Besides, why are you all talking trash... childhood trauma builds character.

3. Dealing with some absolutely brain-dead people on public transit.

But... aren't they always like that?

I’d throw parents pushing strollers into the mix too—honestly, I’d rather get run over by a tank than deal with that. 😠Can I be your sidekick with a flamethrower? Please!!🙂

I actually own the Pure record. 😁

I'm not sure; I used to be really into this stuff back in the day (I was big on industrial, so I naturally loved Nine Inch Nails), but I haven't listened to much of it in maybe ten years. Still, it feels like it was a solid album.
I'll spin it once I get back from vacation and let you know what I think...

Yeah—but sometimes they really take it to a whole new level.🙂

Michael Newman50 said:I’d also add parents pushing strollers—honestly, I’d rather get run over by a tank.😠

And then they wedge themselves into a packed bus, camping out right in front of the doors and refusing to budge even though their stop is miles away. 🙂Whenever my mom sees people acting like that, she always hits me with the "I used to carry you in my arms just to get us on the bus" line.😍

Top 5 things I’ve lent out and never seen again🙂:

1. Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy—lent this to a girl who moved away to Australia... gone forever.
2. Trainspotting—I lent it to a friend so she’d have something to read at the beach, then she lent it to some random guy on the sand (???), and the guy vanished with my book the very next day.s that was her version of returning it. 😁
3. 'The Great R&B Swindle' on unknown—well, maybe there's still a slim chance I'll see that one again.😍
4. Megapunk by Idiot—lent it to some jerk who happened to be over for New Year's Eve, and he just straight-up claimed it as his own.
5. Some stale black martinis rotting somewhere in a McDonald's in Miami because the person responsible left them there and never bothered to go back.

Point is: I can't stand people who don't return stuff!😠 😠 😠

Wait, did he grab your friend first or the book? Or... how does that even work?😬

No, he just took the book. It's pretty obvious he wasn't even interested in her, though she still hasn't realized it to this day.😬

Sustained!

Put Manner chocolate somewhere else.
The hazelnut stuff is just fancy window dressing, really; they could drop it to sixth place if they felt like it.

And hey, look at what else is going to be "sustained" tonight in that trendy series that's basically reaching its end anyway. 😢
