Alright, check this out:

Shellac - At Action Park
Jawbreaker - 24 Hour Revenge Therapy
Green Day - 39 Smooth
Girls Against Boys - Venus Luxure No. 1 Baby
... and even what I’m spinning right now, Pegboy - Strong Reaction...

... plus one totally random but hilarious one:

Crunt - Crunt

... actually, NoMeansNo too. Sonic Youth as well.

And all of this from just one girl. Everyone else was listening to garbage... Thank God for her!

😕 So, what does the cover actually look like? I really don't want to find out there's some Quickspace album sitting around somewhere that I don't own—well, besides a few singles, I guess.😬

For crying out loud. You actually know that Vicious did a cover of that absolute trash, Blitz? 🙏 🙏 🙏

Holy Transformer. You know that "Vicious" covered that absolute disaster of a song, Blitz? 🙏 🙏 🙏

😲
I guess I'm almost afraid to imagine what that would actually sound like.

Honestly, I think they're pretty solid. 😳 Though, to be fair, Black Flag is actually great too. 😳

Hey! We are the boys!
We make the noise!
We call the shots!
Cause hey! We are the boys!

Kevin Chavez3 said:For God's sake. You know Sid Vicious covered the most pathetic excuse for Oi!, Black Flag? 🙏 🙏 🙏

What kind of bottom-tier Oi! trash are we even talking about here? Is this stuff just meant to be blasted from the stage?
I refuse to acknowledge any band where the guys weigh less than two hundred pounds. Where’s the thick neck like a prize bull? Where are the butcher-style fingers that can cover three strings at once?

Maybe Kevin Chavez3 could put together an actual Oi! playlist for me sometime.
Thanks in advance.

Look, you misunderstood me: Black Flag aren't ugly in some intense, aggressive way; they just look plain gross, with those mustaches and all that. It’s more like the Misfits kind of ugly. 🙂

It’ll happen, it’ll happen...

Mustaches are top-tier.
The Misfits are top-tier.

Since you're already crying over Pegboy—do you actually have that The Ramones "1985-1989" CD?

Also, here's my contribution (I'm basically laying down on the floor for Pegboy).

When I get home, I'm going to Punch Cha Cha Damore as hard as my neighbors will let me. I swear I will.

np. You fight like a little girl

It’s not that I don't have it; it’s just that I’ve never heard of it, nor do I ever intend to... Is this something you spread on toast? 😳

That's a shame.
I haven't listened to them either.
Mrs. Damore's band before Pegboy was pure Chicago punk rock.
Supposedly they were incredible.
Just Google it if you want more info.

Well, in that case, I'll have it by tomorrow. 😁

If you're looking, I've got a live recording of Pegboy. It sounds a bit raw, but they play beautifully, and the covers are killer ("That's When I Reach for My Revolver" and "Treason"). Plus, there's some great banter... ("You kids have it all! I used to go barefoot to punk rock shows!"). It's worth a listen. 🙂

Maybe you should just take care of that little engine of yours before you end up needing some heavy-duty laxatives by Tuesday evening.

🤣 😍
