How do I clear unwanted addresses from Chrome and Google?

Back when I was using Edge, I had this little tool that let me see every single URL the browser cached so I could just wipe out whatever I wanted.

Now I'm mostly on Chrome and Google, and I need something similar. For instance, whenever I hit up Reddit, my address bar gets flooded with a million variations ending in things like /cgi or /php...
It’s the same if I make a typo; that "ghost" URL just sticks around in the history.

Basically, I just want to be able to "sift through" my addresses every now and then and keep only the ones I actually care about.

Honestly, I’ve been running into this exact same headache lately; I occasionally head into my settings on Google to clear out my private data, but the catch is that I end up losing all my saved addresses in the process! 😱

Getting a little too comfortable browsing those "sketchy" corners of the web, huh? 🙂 😬

Look, I'm not saying people aren't browsing sketchy sites, but that's really not the issue here.
It’s honestly wild that such a basic feature is missing. I tried using Ctrl+Alt+Del in Google to clear things out and it seemed fine for a second, but then everything just popped right back up.
I'll try to track down that software that used to clean up my Edge. Maybe there's a version for Chrome or Google now. If I find it, I'll let you know.

You should also run a scan on your computer. There might be some spyware or other digital pests lurking around that could be causing this kind of trouble...
