I'm not entirely sure if I'm using the right terminology here, but let's just say I'm looking for advice. Does anyone know where I can pick up some products to help clear out Candida and colon issues?

Hopefully, someone here knows exactly what I'm getting at. 😁

You should be able to find those kinds of supplements at any local health food store. Does anyone know of any good ones located in the NYC area?

Is there actually anyone out there who isn't aware of this? 🙂

Wait, isn't Candida actually a fungus?
Anyway, regarding health food stores:
Whole Foods is right at the top, then maybe Sprouts...
They have the most complete "selection" when it comes to healthy eating.

But what exactly are you hunting for? For bulk grains and stuff, check out Bob's Red Mill—just hit up their website, they ship everywhere, or you can usually find similar staples at a local Co-op on a Wednesday or Thursday...

I think it’s called Acidophilus, a big bottle packed with "good bacteria."
In those boutique pharmacies, it’s pretty pricey.
It’s basically like some kind of bioactive supplement.

There’s also that great herbalist over in suburban Chicago, near the old downtown cathedral, maybe he can help you out...

I assume you're referring to a Candida fungal infection
and colon hydrotherapy?
I've actually read up on colon hydrotherapy; I think I stumbled upon it on
the website for that Ayurvedic center over in Los Angeles.

I’m honestly not entirely sure what we’re dealing with here. From what I’ve heard, it’s something you pick up after a course of antibiotics.
Which essentially means the body isn't flushing out toxins as efficiently as it should.
From what I can gather, though, it isn't anything life-threatening; most people are actually carrying it around. It mostly just tends to mess with your digestion and makes weight management a bit more of a struggle.

Thanks, 🙂
I think I’ll take a quick sprint over to that General Electric store to see what they have in stock.

And I’ll definitely be dropping by the health food store too—if not for this specific issue, then certainly for a few other things. 🙂

I'll check out the center's website.

Hey,

I totally get what you're going through, but I hate to be the bearer of bad news: all those probiotics and "good bacteria" supplements aren't actually going to clear out your gut or kill off the Candida. Sorry. Honestly, the only thing that really works is a super strict diet that lasts about two months.

With this protocol, you have to cut out everything that feeds the yeast: sugar, starch, anything fermented (like vinegar or tamari), mushrooms, dairy, fruit, flour... basically everything.

I’ve been through it myself, and let me tell you—it is tough.

Hang in there, bye!
