I just caught the new trailer ( 😲 )
and man, I have a feeling this movie is going to be totally epic!!! 👍

According to some news site, it’s dropping in early August... But shouldn't they release it a bit sooner, especially since it hits theaters here in the States on July 1st? 😕 🙄

It’s just not going to work because they’ve completely messed with Dr. Doom's origin story!!! And honestly, that feels like a cardinal sin to me. Why all this nonsense about cosmic radiation when everyone knows that Dr. Doom is actually a master of dark magic? Why do they feel the need to meddle with the comic book classics like this? It’s as if they haven't already botched things with Black Kingpin and Catwoman (I mean, let's face it, Daredevil and Catwoman have probably been some of the worst major studio releases in recent years)... Can you imagine if Blade had been played by Busey??? Now that would be a real disaster. I suppose I'll watch the movie, but only to see with my own eyes what they've done to Doom...

He doesn't deserve this kind of treatment because he is a super-villain with one of the greatest plans ever conceived—he triggered volcanoes on one side of the planet, which knocked Earth out of its orbit and pushed it away from the Sun, causing a whole new ice age!!! Luckily, Spider-Man was able to reverse the process and set everything right again...

SHOW SOME RESPECT!!!

So, I just finished watching the movie and I have to say, it was exactly what I thought it would be:

Solid trash! 🙂

The special effects are surprisingly bad for a flick like this. It’s got a few decent, funny moments and isn't boring, but overall, it’s nothing special.

I really hope Hollywood stops churning out these comic book movies anytime soon, because things definitely aren't looking good...

This movie was a total disaster. I didn't even finish it... just like that other one about the red guy with the two bumps on his head.

The movie was an absolute disaster. I couldn't even finish it... and neither could that guy in the red suit with the two bumps on his head.

I can already picture how redowl90 tracked down this film, but what about you?
Is there a DivX version floating around the web already?

The trailer looks absolutely killer to me! But honestly, I felt the exact same way about Hellboy, and we all know how much of a disaster that turned out to be. Should I be worried? Probably. I think I'll just sit tight, wait for the hype to die down, and see what the critics actually have to say once the dust settles.🙂

I have nothing against Jessica Alba, but she and that whole crew of powered-up teammates look less like superheroes and more like the finalists on Supernova: just a bunch of young, trendy, overhyped kids. Honestly, there's a movie idea in there somewhere:

"THEY’VE BEEN CHOSEN AS THE MOST ANNOYING PEOPLE ON THE BACHELOR!"

"BUT THAT VICTORY WAS NOTHING BUT A TRAP!"

Victor von Doom: "That victory was nothing but a trap."

Victor von Doom: "Instead of a record deal, we're stuffing all the finalists into a used rocket and launching them into deep space! BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

Exactly. Stupid comics! Before they started obsessing over them, Hollywood actually produced some decent, intelligent films. Just look at the Riddick series, or King Arthur, or Troy and Jurassic Park 2 and 3, or even those Adam Sandler comedies...

The movie doesn't look particularly great to me... though that song by Anastacia and Mister에는 from the soundtrack was absolutely excellent.👍

And you expect something from a comic book adaptation... Look, I’m a fan of both the comics and the movies, but the real issue is having sky-high expectations while simultaneously praying they don't change a single thing.

Personally, I think Spider-Man and Batman are the absolute best comic book movies out there... but honestly, there are so many good ones that those two are just the tip of the iceberg. I wasn't expecting much from the Fantastic Four, but man, Constantine was a huge letdown for me...

P.S. check out this photo, Jessica Alba looks like she's totally worked up... 😬

I'm with you on Constantine. Honestly, anyone involved in that production deserves to be dragged through the streets. Messing with Alan Moore’s legendary run is nothing short of a sin. They stripped away all the darkness, the cynicism, and the sheer depravity, leaving us with just another generic superhero flick.

Is this really the man who strangled his twin brother with an umbilical cord in the womb? Or the one who cursed his own father in a fit of revenge, ensuring he could never pass into the afterlife? Or the man who tore wings off the angel Gabriel because help wasn't provided when it was needed most, or even engineered a new kind of hell within a prison cell?

Keanu Reeves, you'll be burning in hell for this.😠 😈

Honestly, the absolute dumbest part was that one scene (sorry, my memory is a bit fuzzy) where someone dragged Constantine away, and then everything went into slow motion, and he just resisted and flashed them the middle finger... it was honestly such a move for 😂 and for 🙂!

Honestly, you people are terrible!
The absolute best superheroes out there are Batman and X-Men!
As for Constantine and Hellboy, they both follow the Law (I haven't actually read the comics, so I can't give you a proper take, but as standalone films, they're solid).
If you're looking for garbage, just stick to Daredevil, Catwoman, and Elektra (haven't seen the last one myself, but the reviews absolutely tore it to shreds), or maybe Spawn (which, personally, I don't think is half bad)!
And let's not forget the gentleman known as "Everyone knows where I live and keeps trying to hunt me down, yet I refuse to move—plus, in the comics, I'm actually the one doing the hunting)," the Punisher!
Please, stop bashing the good movies.

Take the Riddick chronicles, for example.

I thought that movie was excellent. Vin himself isn't much, but everything else is fantastic (especially that Necromonger technology)!

I don't think Electar is actually bad at all...

I mean, in this movie you've got various random characters, demon ninjas, and these white ninjas just falling out of the sky—and yeah, I kid you not, Mortal Kombat 2 isn't the only movie with an entrance that epic—plus there's that showdown between Bob Sapp and Wood (which is basically the same level of intellectual depth, I guess), and that lesbian kiss between Natassie and Jennifer...

honestly, those two seconds of them kissing kind of makes the whole thing worthwhile 😍
