New movie releases in The New York Times

There’s a fair amount of junk in there, mostly nonsense, but the essentials will be the Diplomat 🙏 and Serpico 🙏
As for the rest, just a few random titles come to mind—Terminator 2, Cliffhanger, Highlander, Scream 3...

I really hope you didn't include Highlander in that list of "absolute garbage" movies.

So, when was the last round? What kind of movies were on the lineup back then?

Because honestly, this current selection isn't really hitting the mark for me...

As for everything else, I’ll likely pick up a few more pieces later on. Honestly, heading down to a local video rental shop feels a bit more budget-friendly than this. Besides, nobody actually expects an entire series to be flawless—that’s an impossible standard to meet. In the previous collection, I picked up Life is Beautiful and Apocalypse. Once a couple of titles from The Washington Post are factored in, you end up with some pretty decent additions for a home collection without breaking the bank.
I’m just not the type of enthusiast who’s going to drop 100-$67 on a single movie.

I think Apocalypse Now was a Los Angeles Times giveaway. I’m actually wondering the same thing about Pulp Fiction, and if I recall correctly, Raw Passion was from The New York Post.
