Uh... it wasn't on any of the standard studio albums, and from what I can tell (I don't recognize the song), it sounds like it comes right from that window when Paul Newton was leaving the band and Gary Thain was stepping in... So, honestly, it could be either one...

Yeah, Thain played on that record. But then again, I noticed the exact same track popped up as a bonus on Look At Yourself, even though Newton is actually the one playing on that one... 😕 Honestly, whatever, man. Anything from the early Uriah Heep days hits right in the feels for me...

Wrong! All this electronic gear just gives "traditional" bands more ways to actually beef up their sound.
Electronic music isn't some magic fix for everything. Just look at the mess HAL 9000 put together.😬 👋

That is exactly my point. Bands without electronic elements are practically useless, no matter how much... I don't know... inspiration they claim to have.

Besides, you can simulate every single instrument on a computer these days, so why bother buying gear or even bothering to learn how to play? It’s pathetic.🙂

In my honest opinion, what you're saying is a bit misguided. Bands that don't rely on electronics manage to thrive perfectly well without them.
Just because the most popular bands today tend to lean heavily on electronic production doesn't mean anything permanent. Trends are constantly shifting, aren't they? And seeing as we've started seeing such high-quality live shows popping up all over the US again (depending on who you ask😉), I actually predict a massive resurgence in the popularity of non-electronic bands. Perhaps not this very second, but it's coming soon.

Just because the most popular acts today rely heavily on electronics doesn't prove anything. Trends are fickle by nature. Given that we've started seeing much higher quality live shows across the US lately 😉, I predict a resurgence for non-electronic bands. It won't happen overnight, but it's coming.

There's no doubt that non-electronic bands will see a surge in popularity across America, Canada, and all the way through to the rest of the continent. I can't blame musicians for playing without electronic backing when that's what the audience actually wants to hear...
