Come on... don't be so dramatic... it's not like New York City is a total ghost town before summer hits...🙄

Nah, everyone 🙂 is heading to the beach!!!

There is absolutely ZERO connection!

Look, man,
I get it—the connection isn't what actually caused the shutdown
or the funding issues and all that other stuff.
But seriously,
for crying out loud...

If you've got nothing else to say, just leave me alone.

It’s such a shame... especially now that the tourists are starting to roll in and there's just nothing to see. It looks honestly ridiculous compared to other cities... calling this a metropolis? More like a small town in Ohio. Savannah.

Nah, everyone 🙂 just heads straight for the beach!!!

😁 (I'm mostly just messing with you guys)

But, seriously, 🙄 , the real issue is that this "summer" vibe is going to drag all the way through Christmas
and it’s not even because of global warming

Where on earth did you hear about those bars closing? Besides, you can reach them from the other side too!!

And I don't see why you're taking this personally. I wasn't calling anyone out; I was just genuinely confused about how you all connected the dots.

And I honestly don't get why you're acting like I singled you out. I wasn't calling anyone out—I was just confused about how you guys even connected all those dots in the first place.

Well, a couple of my friends told me.
So the first thing I mentioned was that you could still reach them via Broadway.
God, give me a break—I'm not about to go scaling rooftops.
I'm just trying to figure out if anyone else has actually heard anything about this, or if these two are just spinning yarns for no reason.

The reason I connected everything is because it feels like I won't even have anywhere to hang out anymore—unless you count sitting on a bench outside my local CVS until 10 PM.
And I felt targeted because I was the one who brought it up and put the pieces together.

Everything happens when it's meant to...

My buddies are on good terms with the owner of the local mills and hang out there pretty much every day—I'm there quite often too—but I haven't heard anything like that either. If that helps at all...

They're planning to renovate Broadway this summer; it should take about three months. They've already mentioned it on the radio a few times.

Thank God... hopefully they'll rebuild that stream they had running back before neonmaker20 was around.

Talking about the construction on Broadway, sure, but let's not start panicking about the mills closing down yet. No need to make a scene before anything has actually happened. At the end of the day, it’s not exactly a huge deal if the mills go offline for a bit... But fine, I won't argue with you. It’s not really relevant to this thread anyway.

I can see what’s going on here—there’s definitely some shady maneuvering happening behind my mother's back. To be fair, she’s doing perfectly fine, and honestly, if it weren't for her, half the things in this city—okay, maybe even a fifth of 😁—wouldn't be happening at all. Now, someone might have overcharged them by a few bucks, who knows? Maybe it was just Plax being careless; he's been a bit scattered lately anyway 😂

And what does any of this have to do with my mother? They get their funding from overseas regardless... don't they?

Soros? 😁 😁

Are we really calling our own mother a traitor now?! 😁

No, seriously—why on earth would internal funding issues even matter to them? Even if the money was coming from Soros... at least I’m actually getting a chance to see what I’m interested in. 😁
