...The Cure played in Minneapolis the next day, but I skipped it as a protest (😵 😵 😵) because the venue was swarmed by this massive horde of wannabe "alternative" kids and "goths," leaving nothing behind but traces of white powder and wet black dye all over their cheap clothes... 😁 😁

Honestly, the Pixies never quite clicked for me. Now, I guess I get a bit emotional when I hear them, but back then, they just felt a little too "girly" compared to someone like Kim Deal. 😁 😁 😁

I’ve never actually seen Spot live, but honestly, the Pixies version is ten times better. I don't care. The original feels too limp, too high, trying way too hard to be "cool"... but this remix? It makes me want to actually feel something, to experience it... 😉
