I’ve been thinking about the healing power of herbal teas lately. Wouldn't it be great if there was actually one reliable spot where you could look up which tea helps with which specific ailment?
Specifically, I'm looking for recommendations on what works for ovarian cysts, plus anything good for clearing up acne and blackheads. Thanks in advance!

I’d suggest picking up "Walgreens Herbal Guide" published by Pearson. It should arrive around $100, but it's worth the investment. You'll definitely find the answers you're looking for there.
As for herbal teas, I get everything I need from a small apothecary in old downtown Chicago.👋

As for clearing up acne, I'm honestly not quite sure... I have a few different tea recipes on hand, so I suppose I could look through them sometime...
However, there is one particular blend that works wonders for managing cholesterol levels... plenty of people have given it a shot and seem to have seen some real improvement... though, obviously, the tea isn't a magic fix; you really have to be mindful of your diet as well... but here is the recipe:
Using about 2-3 tablespoons of each:
Dandelion root
Dandelion leaf
Milk thistle
Fennel seeds
Chamomile
Wormwood
*Just boil everything in water for about a minute, then let it steep for 15 minutes...
I guess you would just drink this once a day for 19 days straight, and then take a break...

Caught some documentary around noon last Saturday about medicinal herbs from the Rockies, talking all about different teas and their healing properties...

Anyone know which book they were talking about?
😕

For those of you who struggle with a sensitive stomach, I’d highly suggest trying a blend of fennel and St. John's Wort. Personally, it always seems to soothe my gastritis. A few of my friends and acquaintances have given it a shot too, and they all found it quite helpful.

You can pick up the ingredients pretty easily, it's simple to brew, and honestly, it doesn't taste half bad—I actually find it quite tasty and usually drink it without any sugar at all.

The term "cyst" when referring to ovaries is incredibly vague. It could represent anything from a totally normal occurrence to a serious, malignant condition with a poor prognosis.

I’m pretty sure mine was just one of those "normal occurrences," because once I stopped using birth control after a year, the cyst actually cleared up on its own. Now I'm just paranoid it'll make a comeback, so I'm looking for some kind of herbal tea or something to help prevent it from happening again.

If you’re looking to clear out your ovaries, I suppose a blend of chamomile and calendula tea might help... maybe try drinking about a liter and a half to two liters of it daily.

So how long am I supposed to be chugging this stuff?
