amigos said:Just find a new doctor! Seriously, this one sounds clueless—he should know better. If you eat fish, just make sure you're eating enough of it! Take my advice, haha, stay strong!

I'm sticking with my doctor, though. He always writes me those prescriptions... he he... 😈 🙂

Look, I personally know several doctors who are strict vegetarians. Why? Simply because it’s healthy. Of course, that assumes you actually follow the nutritional guidelines. Vegetarianism isn't just living on potato chips and chocolate bars.😁

It’s a shame😁 it’s that kind of vegetarianism, otherwise I’d be signing up immediately.😁

Amy Turner10, check out this thread over in the food section. As you can see, there are plenty of people there who can give you some actual solid advice.

Your dad must be incredibly uneducated—probably barely scraped through middle school—and just totally out of touch if he’s actually equating vegetarianism with terrorism... 🙄 I mean, what kind of bubble is he living in to conflate two concepts that are polar opposites?

My own dad associates religion with terrorism... which, honestly, I think puts him way closer to the truth than your old man does...

When I decided to quit meat when I was sixteen... my dad was actually my biggest supporter... 👍

Whenever the rest of the family or my friends would act all shocked... my dad would just shut them down and tell them they didn't get it. He'd be like, "My daughter is ahead of her time; she's progressive," 👍 🙂

Dad still eats meat, obviously... 😁 though he isn't quite the carnivore my mom is... 😲 Mom could practically live on nothing but steak... 😲 but even she loved whipping up veggie meals and soy burgers for me... and she never once tried to talk me out of being a vegetarian...

My dad links religion to terrorism... honestly, I think he's way closer to the truth than your dad is...

When I quit meat at sixteen... my dad was my biggest supporter! 👍

Whenever everyone else—family, friends—would judge me... my dad would just tell them they didn't get it. He'd say, "My daughter is ahead of her time!" 👍 🙂

Dad still eats meat, obviously... 😁 but he's not a total carnivore like Mom... 😲 Mom could basically live on steak alone... 😲 but even she loved making veggie meals and soy burgers for me... she never once tried to talk me out of being a vegetarian...

Come on now, let's not get personal! My dad's a college grad. He probably doesn't mean the terrorism thing seriously... though it is one of his favorite topics...
I wish I had parents like yours... seriously! When I stayed with my grandma, she never made a single meal without meat. She wouldn't make anything meat-free for me, even though she cooked separate meals for my two stepbrothers every single day. Can you believe the injustice?! 🙂
