Maybe if the Eagle drove on wheels, things would actually move.
James Anderson5 said:Where do you even find these generic clichés? It feels like everything online is just recycled headlines... Look, nobody is stopping you from donating money to Ukrainians, hosting a few refugees, or grabbing an AK and heading to the front lines if that's your thing. If you believe in the cause, go for it. Personally, I won't, though I’d definitely help out on a human level if someone I personally knew was struggling in places like Syria or Yemen... But I'd much rather not have people with these views push us into economic crises and shortages. Too often, we've been dragged into wars that had nothing to do with us, as if we didn't have enough of our own problems to deal with...
Americans have always used those tired slogans to recruit naive folks for wars in Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan... "Fight dictators so they don't end up at your doorstep," blah blah blah. In the end, someone else walks away with massive profits while the people on the ground are left dealing with trauma or losing limbs... It’s the same story here; Americans get incredibly rich because they can sell gas and oil at massive markups, while Ukrainians and even regular Russians pay with their lives—including some fools from around here who went over there to fight. We all end up paying the price through inflation, and maybe even the average American will feel it too, since none of this was ever meant for them...
It’s funny how people only seem to care about drawing lines against dictators when it happens in Ukraine... nobody was making those same calls back in Chechnya when cities were being leveled, or in Iraq where so many civilians died without anyone calling out war crimes. Even with what our allies have done in Saudi Arabia and Yemen, there’s just this weird silence instead of people actually demanding justice or standing up to the madmen...
At the end of the day, it all boils down to the same thing. None of the three major powers—whether it's the US, Russia, or China—are actually good. Every single one of them is pretty gross in its own way, just to varying degrees depending on whether their interests happen to align with yours or not...

If our President starts acting like a Russian asset, why shouldn't we suspect someone with direct business ties to Moscow? That is precisely how you should interpret this pile of nonsense he’s spewing. Let's just add another Russian operative to the list; I'll call him Spivak.

Joseph Parker said:The Ukrainian army put out a short little tutorial video on Facebook showing how to use the Javelin.
Honestly, it left me a bit stunned by how simple it all looks. Obviously, you probably need some real-world experience to actually land a hit, but the mechanics themselves seem pretty straightforward... I think their profile might be blocked right now because of the explicit content, but if I track it down, I'll post it here.

But they might be getting even more complex gear arriving soon
—and they really need to get that sorted out immediately.
Plus, this whole spontaneous wave of aid from individual countries—the Poles providing weapons, the Czechs providing weapons, America providing weapons
It creates a nightmare. For instance, if you have one or two types of naval semi-automatic rifles instead of five different kinds, it's much better for logistics.
Imagine having a unit out on the front lines and suddenly you're dealing with three different sets of gear; some soldiers have ammo and spare parts, while others are completely left high and dry because their specific equipment is missing.
The help is great, truly—but sticking to one or two standardized types of equipment is definitely the way to go.
Kyle Campbell4 said:James Anderson5, you are nothing but a liar. Have some shame. Besides, you’re just a fraud. People like you always look out for themselves and never even feel the weight of a crisis. Go somewhere else to peddle those relativizing lies of yours.
Larry Fox5 said:So you think I'm the one pushing us into an economic crisis—not Putin attacking a sovereign European nation? Seriously? You think we should just sit back with a bowl of popcorn and watch the war unfold from some comfy armchair... just because we don't want our quality of life to take a hit? Unbelievable...
So basically, when Adolf Hitler invaded Poland—and then went after the Benelux countries and France—you think the whole world should have just minded its own business and let Germany do whatever they wanted? Give me a break... Any comparison between Putin and Hitler isn't some coincidence—it's intentional.
So, you're saying American policy is to blame for Putin attacking Ukraine? Why not just say that from the start—honestly, you're writing complete nonsense about things you clearly don't grasp. This war is just as devastating for the US as it is for the rest of the world. We’re looking at runaway inflation gutting the economy, skyrocketing raw material costs, and eventually, it all crashes into a recession... hitting everything from local businesses to major American and German corporations alike. Sure, a tiny group of people will profit, but claiming they orchestrated this whole mess just to get rich is a one-way ticket to a psych ward...
It’s just like saying you’d worry about your own kid just as much as some kid from an African tribe you only ever saw in National Geographic... nothing changes there.
Here's a quick breakdown of KBKK right now regarding who's actually decent or garbage. I don't see any reason to be obsessing over this right now or trying to find some twisted excuse for Russian hegemony...
