I don't even know where to start with this... just absolute nonsense! [Username] says:
Who exactly was out here defending Putin? Look, I get what he is—but life isn't some black-and-white movie, nothing is... And sure, Americans aren't exactly saints either, but that doesn't make him any better. Thank God for geniuses like you or enough rage to actually see things clearly—without your "brilliant" geopolitical insights, I’d be totally lost in this world...🤣
You’re just playing the relativizer card—exactly what everyone does when they try to excuse Putin's aggression. You’re hiding behind those tired old clichés to push this idea that it’s all "not black and white" or "well, Americans aren't saints either" or bringing up "Yemen and those 200k kids"... honestly, it's all just empty rhetoric and nonsense. And where the hell are you even getting those numbers about 200k dead children from? It's pretty obvious nobody is going to take you seriously anymore when you start throwing around fake stats like Sava Strbac...
I can't even deal with this... just absolute nonsense... The user says:
Regarding those kids they feature in National Geographic—man... I've done more for them through back channels than you ever did privately—not that anyone's counting...What have you actually done for anyone lately? Seriously—you’ve got the chance right now to help some Ukrainian family, but instead, you're lecturing me about how Americans should accept a lower standard of living just to spite Russia... like our sanctions are actually going to destroy them. If you've got enough to type all this out, you clearly have enough to donate $10,000 to a refugee family...
I have no clue what you're basing that on—how could you possibly know how much I've donated to anyone? What, did you get a reading from Vanga or something...?
I've never once said how much money I have—it's all just some fake nonsense people made up that I never even confirmed or denied... Why would I even bother doing that?
James Anderson5 said:I honestly won't even bother descending to your level with further qualifications... you certainly deserve them though...
Who here was actually defending Putin? Look, I get what he's done, but life isn't black and white, and nothing ever really is... Americans aren't exactly saints either, though that doesn't make him right. Thank God I have people like you or Kyle Campbell4 to clear things up for me, otherwise I'd be totally lost without all your brilliant geopolitical insights...🤣
When it comes to those kids featured in National Geographic, I’ve actually done more for them privately than you ever have... Honestly, what have you actually done for anyone through charity? You have plenty of opportunities right now to help a Ukrainian family, yet instead, you're lecturing me about how we should all accept a lower standard of living just to hurt Russia with sanctions... If you're posting this much, surely you could spare $10,000 to help a refugee family in need...
Speaking of threats and dictators, I can't help but wonder how many people here fuming over the situation in Ukraine actually stepped up when things got real back home... You know, during our own domestic conflicts where our very existence was on the line. It’s rare to find anyone who served personally, or even had a father or brother who did. Yet, you see these online warriors for Ukraine everywhere you look. What a joke...
🤣
What's the plan now? You all kept insisting we were all thinking the same thing, so here’s some fresh material to get you worked up about a different perspective 🤣 I could easily give you more, since it's so easy to bait you guys into an argument
And we’re right back to that same old "where were you in '91" nonsense again... seriously... 🤣

You’re just lashing out because your little theories regarding February are falling apart. The facts here are crystal clear, and they don't favor those who hate the West and try to play the Relativizer to soften the blow. We are looking at an undeniable act of aggression—a full-scale military invasion by a dictator against a sovereign, democratic, internationally recognized nation with clearly defined borders, a nation that provided absolutely no provocation whatsoever. Meanwhile, this little man publicly rants, denying the very existence of the Ukrainian state, boasting about the "Russian world" (sound familiar?), and hunting for imaginary foreign and domestic enemies. You’re nothing but an angry puppet, a servant of Putin, and a total amateur playing at being a doctor of geopolitics. Don't you ever mention my name again. I have zero interest in dealing with people who attempt to justify this evil coming from The Kremlin or try to dilute legitimate criticism through constant relativization.

🙏 This is basically the peak of American small-mindedness and those pathetic complexes we clearly won't shake off for another thousand years. But hey, it’s great that instead of just "insulting" people, we get to read about how certain folks—the ones with Russian manager buddies who claim life in Moscow isn't all that bad, the ones who claim to be anti-war while couldn't care less about the actual victims—are just here to twist the knife. Because sure, saying "200,000 dead kids" sounds real powerful, right? Meanwhile, they love playing judge and jury over who fought in the Gulf War and who didn't.
#hang in there, buddies, my heart really bleeds for you 😵

I mean, has there ever actually been a move quite like this in recorded history, or are we all just pretending this is normal?

Orbán is accusing the Opposition of wanting to drag soldiers into the fray
The Opposition—well, they’re claiming he’s trying to pull them toward the East, just like back in the 90s
It is a complete reversal—the leftist parties are actually calling him pro-Russian now
Meanwhile, his six coalition partners are all insisting on non-intervention
This whole war has completely flipped the script on everyone.

Maybe he's just a little too pro-Mexican, or perhaps a Russian mercenary.
The group here has completely lost its mind. The way people toss these accusations around so nonchalantly is something else. 🤦

I honestly can't fathom why there's such daily commentary regarding the war in this off-topic section when a dedicated subforum exists specifically for that purpose. It seems like Kyle Campbell4 talks more about the conflict than my own American colleagues do.

So he writes that he'll renounce his citizenship if Vučić stops acting out?
What was I supposed to take away from that—that he's a Frenchman?
#1957 ·
If you listen to what the Kyiv Independent is reporting, they're saying about 14,000 Russian soldiers have been wiped out in just these last 22 days. That's more than all the American soldiers lost during the entire American War of Independence.

Honestly, your post just gave me an opening to address Kyle Campbell4's accusations regarding Angrifov's account.
As for that boldbadger1 comment, I took it to mean he’s so mesmerized by Vučić's campaign ads that they might actually drive him back to the faith of his ancestors.😬

Honestly, every side involved in a war tends to inflate their numbers, often making the losses seem much larger than they really are. I mean, can 14,000 people truly be lost in only 22 days? That's not even close to the scale of Rzhev. Isn't it much easier to track the loss of military hardware, since there's actual visual evidence for that?
