Master of Puppets by Metallica.
Metallica - Ride the Lightning
Metallica - ...And Justice for All
Every single Iced Earth album is solid... no matter how you slice it.
I prefer Iron Maiden... 🙂
Greetings.

I'm currently in the process of tracking down every single album by Therion—there are over 20 of them now, including those early ones originally released on cassette 😁
Back when Therion was still known as Blitzkrieg 👍

Back when they were still going by Blitzkrieg. 👍
I've got most of that collection myself, though I'm still relying on an old MP3 CD that's been sitting at a friend's place for months now.

Give me a break, man—black metal was already a thing back when Varg was still wearing diapers.😁

Oh, please... just shut up. Don't come in here acting like you've suddenly gained a brain. You've never said anything remotely close to this before.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😠 😠 😠 😠 😠

Look, sorry, but if you actually consider Venom to be "real" black metal, then yeah, Varg was basically still in diapers when they started playing.
Just so we're clear, though—the entire American movement is still referred to as the "second wave of black metal."

Yeah, alright, fair enough... but he can't pull that stunt against Varg... Look, I'm not saying I'm some massive Burzum fanatic (like some kind of 😛) but still...

My bad, mellowrider50, for calling you out specifically, but honestly this applies to anyone using that term... if you didn't realize, the word cult actually implies something hidden.
And none of those albums were some underground secret kept from the public eye—I mean, how else would you guys even know they existed? There was actual promotion involved for all of them, so let's not get ahead of ourselves...

None of those albums were "hidden" from the public—otherwise, how would you even know they existed? They actually had full-on marketing campaigns behind them.
When I call an album "cult," I don't mean it's tucked away on some dusty corner of a record store shelf. I mean the album is incredible and has gathered a dedicated following of people who absolutely worship it.
In my book, "cult" basically translates to legendary.
For instance:
Dissection - Storm of the Light's Bane
Slayer - Reign in Blood

Hold up, that Varg guy... isn't he basically just some old man sitting around changing diapers at this point? 😕
