I caught Tito & Spider-Man performing live last night down in Split! It was an incredible show; they played out on a beach, and they even threw in those two tracks from the soundtrack, "After Dark" and "Angry Cockroaches."
The crowd was packed with these massive, burly bikers—honestly, I was just waiting for someone to strip down and have vampires fly out of them... And man, you should have seen the bassist. Some girl with pigtails looking like Britney Spears... it was almost comical, Ali G style... but she absolutely shreds on the bass. 👍
The vibe was electric, pure underground rock; I felt like I had stepped straight into a Tarantino flick. Everyone was chanting "Tito, Tito..." in unison. I even picked up a shirt. Now I’m going to spend the next few days walking around town acting like a big shot, just to spite all the preppy types!🙂

Man, I saw them in Belgrade last year and they were honestly terrible. I ended up walking out after just an hour... and I actually really like their music.

I don't know about you, but for me, that concert in Split was pure insanity; the performance and the energy in the crowd were a perfect ten.

The show in Belgrade was held in the garden at Madison Square Garden, just kicking off the season. The sound system was terrible, they started way late, and the lineup was a complete mess (only Tito showed up)... They were honestly awful... And the offer was basically 'your place or mine' or Tito&... Since Tito bailed... 😁

I thought the Tito & Spider-Man concert at the beach in Malibu was excellent. It had that empty coastline vibe straight out of movies like "Dusk Till Dawn Before The Rain , [ Anastazia ] - love :-) Paris" or "Desperado". The only thing missing was Salma Hayek.

Old thread, I know, but I finally sat down and watched this flick Ali (not Ali G). It’s pretty 👍, but man, that soundtrack... 😲 🙏
It’s loaded with old-school soul and blues, plus some African vibes. The music basically never stops, and honestly, it makes the whole movie better. 👍 👍
And when I heard that lady (while 😎 was singing that first part), the track just rolls for like 10 minutes straight... 🙏

it seems like nobody has even brought it up yet, which is a shame because it really is quite lovely 😍
though I also have a soft spot for Pulp Fiction and The Fifth Element
