It looks pathetic. A tired culinary show trope. Emergency services and crime procedurals are just the most overplayed themes out there. This trailer looks unwatchable.

It just wasn't worth the watch. I mean, I wasn't expecting much to begin with, but somehow I still walked away feeling disappointed. The ending felt so unnecessarily cheesy, too.

but honestly, I can't help but gravitate toward anything with a culinary theme, especially since those kinds of movies are actually pretty rare, so things like The flavors of the Palace, Like a chef, and Chef always catch my eye because I have a bit of a weakness for food porn, don't we? 😁
I don't doubt this one will be interesting enough, but then again, there's just Cooper... 👎

Well, thanks for saving me the ticket money! I was actually debating whether to hit the theater or just wait until it hits streaming services anyway...

I definitely wouldn't recommend the cinema. I only went for a few other reasons, and honestly, I was hoping at least the concessions would be decent enough to make the trip worth it, but man, was I wrong. Even the food at a local Cheesecake Factory is way better than this.

What is even the deal with Bradley Cooper? I mean, he’s solid in pretty much everything he touches outside of The Hangover—we're talking The Word, The Place Beyond the Pines, Silver Linings Playbook, American Sniper, even Guardians of the Galaxy...
It honestly feels like he has way more range than someone like Leonardo DiCaprio, but people just love dropping those vomit emojis without actually having an argument to back it up.

He’s an irritating guy—a decent actor, sure, but nothing more. It’s honestly hilarious that he’s pulled three Oscar nominations in a row. 🤣
To me, he just comes off as way too pretentious.

It’s not like I think anything he does is better than what DiCaprio puts out.

Is it just me, or does Bradley almost always play these guys who used to be somebody, but they've hit rock bottom and spend the whole movie trying to claw their way back to the top? I mean, looking at his roles in Silver Linings Playbook, Limitless, and now even Burnt... it's definitely a pattern. Okay, maybe The Hangover doesn't totally fit that mold, though there are definitely some vibes there too, just like in a few of his other parts.

Burnt is actually a pretty fun watch, just a solid, easygoing flick if you want to chill out. It was honestly exactly what I needed to unwind after bingeing those intense sci-fi thrillers... ☕

Something about this movie felt off... and some of those scenes were just hard to swallow.
