Honestly, this blatant bias is starting to get under my skin. It used to be that they at least attempted to mask it, sugarcoat it, or pretend it didn't exist. But now? Now they’re just openly mocking the political sub-community.

And we’re looking at anti-Israel protests that aren't just limited to Islamic groups, all playing out right while the Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip is in full swing...

Besides all that, it honestly took me about two seconds of Googling to realize there was never any kind of "conspiracy of silence" back then... everyone was reporting on it quite thoroughly, actually...

And obviously, that's why I got flagged, so let me ask you again: why is discussing the issue of rape off-limits if it's a legitimate concern regarding immigrants—especially when it's blatantly obvious that in the countries where they are most prevalent, we see the highest rates of sexual assault involving them. Please, if your answer is just "because we said so," save your breath.

What exactly is the military supposed to bring to the border—a brass band? 😁 It’s not like he was suggesting they just start shooting at refugees for no reason. There's no debate here: refugees need help. But we can't have massive groups of unknown people crossing the border without any oversight. We have to be able to verify who people are and why they're arriving in the first place.

And one more thing: you guys keep telling everyone on Reddit that it’s been debunked—that people aren't skipping meals because of the Red Cross. Who actually debunked it? What sources were the media even using when they claimed this story was false?

But what does this post even have to do with the immigration topic? And why hasn't it been deleted or the user banned, moderators?

I spent years practically living in a major US city, and I never once saw a woman wearing a headscarf there.

I see them occasionally near the coast—not in hijabs, but in these... I don't know how to describe them... swimsuits that look like pajamas, covering them from head to toe, leaving only the hands, face, and feet exposed. They just stand there on the beach in them.

Yeah, everyone stares and mocks them, but if she’s happy, whatever. It doesn't bother me. It looks ugly, sure, but good grief...

That was recently, just one person.

And I think I saw someone dressed similarly at the beach last year or the year before. One time it was a Japanese woman, or maybe a Korean woman, something like that. Whether she was Muslim or if there was some other reason, I have no clue.

In the city, I saw two women once—don't know their age or anything else—wearing a type of abaya.

That's it. Over all these years, it doesn't seem like much.

In Ottawa, I don't know any young Muslim women who dress like that; it's actually the exact opposite. I even have Muslim family friends, and neither they nor anyone in their circle dresses that way. I'm not denying your experience, but mine is completely different. That's exactly why there's nothing to worry about.

To actually understand what Meadow and Edo are doing here, you need to scroll back through at least ten pages of this thread. You can't grasp the big picture if you just react to posts one by one. In this specific instance, the issue lies with the criteria being used. They aren't applied equally; there's a double standard between users who don't hold strong opinions, like lonebadger6 and Bradley Sanders4, and those who do. My own post, which I pinned to the top of this sub-forum, looks completely unfair if you try to weigh it against the body of work produced by Edo and Meadow over the last ten pages.

An example of hate speech slipped right under the radar because Bradley Sanders4 dismissed it as mere "trolling." Let me present it once more for clarity:

Meadow thinks there's zero point even discussing Sharia in Europe and wonders why on earth we're debating it, yet the second I post a link where Muslims are explicitly stating they want to implement Sharia in Belgium, I get slapped with a warning just for repeating it. I’m talking about their specific comments regarding enrollment—comments they clearly left without permission, which is why they're being called out for being absolute muppets. Of course I'm not asking for a link to something that doesn't exist anymore. Please, next time, actually read the reason behind the warning before you come in here to laugh... and please don't quote my moderator warnings or try to debate my moderation decisions within this thread.
