Duh, obviously, that's 29 days.

Since I put February 1st to March 1st.

It just sounds way better to say 30 days than 29.

You might as well just accept the consequences—which is that you aren't getting that PDF of the Eurovision results 😁

It is relevant. 👍

I remarked quite some time ago that those who are truly adept at communication often utilize "relatively" inaccurate information, which they then seamlessly pivot into an accurate reality.

Regarding reporting posts, the mods can see exactly what I’m flagging, and let me tell you, I’ve never once been rude when I submit a report. I don't get why anyone would think I'm being disrespectful?!

I honestly can't wrap my head around why you'd act that way sometimes either. I suppose the justification lies in that previous response you gave me.

One month until Dora, then you'll be whining about needing another month for Eurovision in May, and we'll be right back in this exact same loop next year.

It’s a Začaran cycle, just tilting at windmills.

Can't wait to deal with this same tired topic again next year. 👋

I basically have three ways of reporting stuff here:

1. The little triangle icon—I just flag it as a troll or ask to delete an ad.

2. For one of those PDFs, I just shoot a message over to Nice and that’s it. Nice always sorts it out every single time, and man, I really appreciate that because that PDF is super important to me.

3. The last one was reporting it to Andrew so he could merge two different threads.

Have I ever actually been rude when I report a post to you?

As for that thing about the brakes... yeah, fine, I'll own it. I was wrong there.

Look, obviously, I'm not asking for it to stay open forever. Just two months. Who in their right mind—aside from me, obviously—would demand everything on Television stays under partial access, only opening the pdf Eurovision for one month and then keeping everything else locked until May?

Seriously, what's the big deal?! It takes Nice two seconds to fix it.

Of course we should be talking about Eurovision in April too.

Personally, I'm already looking forward to posting about the pdf Eurovision starting February 1st.

Hallelujah, finally. What a collection. 🙏 Next time, make sure you put that in the very first post. 🙂

Look, I'm generally all for giving people second chances—even seventh ones—because some folks just need more time. 🙂 The thing is, Casilda does an excellent job moderating Eurovision, and I have no intention of stepping on his toes. He gets the final say on this.

Let's be real: given how intense you get, your over-the-top enthusiasm, and your tendency to spam, I just can't see you being a normal user on the Eurovision board. You'll end up flooding and suffocating it with too many posts. That’s your crime, isn't it?

Then again, it would be a shame to let all that energy go to waste. 😁 So, just start your own Eurovision thread over in Fun Music. Dora should do the same.

I’m fully behind Mančin’s plea for a pardon—basically, just take off the cone of shame already.

I honestly have no clue why he was even put on probation in the first place, but if he actually ends up listening to Dora, then we’ve already seen enough punishment.😁 He needs that restriction lifted because if he spends all his time obsessing over Dora and Eurovision, he’s going to have zero energy left for Gastronomy.😍

So now we find out there’s even some partial overlap with the music too 🤣

Larry Walker24 said:Can I get my partial access extended for 30 days (02/01 - 03/01)? I need the pdf Eurovision so I can finally tear into Dora's performance.

Everything else on the Television PDF stays under partial access because, frankly, I don't give a damn about it.

I’ve respected the partial rules for years now—never once have I tried to fake an account. My post count on the PDF is zero.

If anyone actually cares about the history of Eurovision, you can read it here:

I never quite caught on, but I am curious... what was the reason behind the partial split? 😁

Big A.

🙂Even A. ni Salomon couldn't have handled it better. No one is particularly happy, yet no one is miserable either... the rules were followed to the letter.
On the other hand, nobody actually asked for that, though your suggestion was perfectly reasonable.
Since the accused moderator hasn't bothered to weigh in... it's a shame. It would have been quite illuminating to hear his side of the story.
I was merely commenting on the procedure itself. As for Larry Walker24, I'm unfamiliar with his specific stance on this particular issue, but whenever I've engaged with his posts elsewhere, I've always appreciated his perspective and methodology.

I don't think he missed the mark here (yet)... just a joke, of course.

Supposedly because of C/P.

There’s a thread over there, but it’s mostly just people dropping song links.

There’s a thread over on the women's corner (those discussions are legendary there) plus another one over on the US boards.

Huge thanks to Maria Barnes for the reply.

Casey Bennett said:There shouldn't be any ambiguity here; posting on mobile, going off-topic, or diving into politics are three entirely different things, and politics carries the strictest rules on this forum for good reason.
Furthermore, we have to remember that moderators are actual human beings, not programmed machines following a rigid script; they naturally react differently depending on the individual—whether it's a regular user who slips up once in a blue moon or someone who is a habitual offender.
That is the blunt reality of it.

edit. You tacked that last paragraph onto your post after I had already finished, so I didn't quote or address it directly, even though my response covers the substance regardless of what else you might decide to add later.😁
