A little bit of humility following a victory like that wouldn't go amiss... though I suppose we shouldn't expect much more from the British; it's hardly surprising they're such unpopular characters everywhere you go.

Charles Leclerc saw exactly where this was heading, so he bailed out and swung wide into lane two just to make sure he didn't end up face-planting into the retaining wall himself.

I mean, seriously, look at the life Tom Cruise is living—hitting up Wimbledon, catching the Euro finals, and then making it to the Grand Prix all in a single day 🙏

So the penalty was basically pointless—he still had to deal with those half-baked Ferrari and McLaren cars, and since they were running lighter, Mercedes just kept pulling away (they even tossed Bottas's strategy under the bus just to make sure he finished behind him).

Klosarcic—aka the wrecking ball—definitely got handed a gift there, but you can't just hand out a +10 second advantage when a championship is on the line. Plus, you can't just pit whenever you feel like it; that should've happened within the first ten laps.

Lewis Hamilton is operating at a level far beyond anything Ayrton Senna ever reached.

Talking to Sky US, Mark Said The crash between Hamilton and Verstappen was not a normal incident, accusing the seven-time champ of driving recklessly.

When asked if a standard penalty would suffice, Mark said: "Standard sporting regulations just don't cover this.

"I'm not sure what the ceiling is for penalties, but behavior this reckless and dangerous deserves a suspension or something similar."

Mark said he was absolutely certain Hamilton was at fault for the collision—arguing it was completely unacceptable to have an incident like that at a high-speed turn like Copse.

"When a driver slams their front tire into our rear wheel, it isn't just a racing mishap in the fastest part of the track," he noted. "That is pure negligence and dangerous driving."

Bottas has seen it all at this point. It’s almost funny—listening to the radio updates where Lewis is basically hunting down Charles, telling him he'll catch up if he just stays close... and that happens a mere 10 laps before the finish
The end result? He ends up 11 seconds behind Lewis 🤣🤣
It just goes to show that this Mercedes-Benz isn't nearly the dominant force it used to be this year. Red Bull Racing is clearly faster, but Lewis is just managing to stay in the hunt through sheer pace
