I was thinking about those Edgar Wright films lately, specifically looking back at his earlier stuff. Maybe it's just nostalgia, but there's something about that specific pacing he uses. It’s a bit of a slow burn sometimes, but I always found it pretty engaging. I don't know, maybe I'm just being old-fashioned.

In the States, we're so used to our standard 120V setup, but there's something interesting about how different things work when you step outside that bubble. The World's End (2013)

It's a dark comedy with a horror edge where the cast basically plays themselves 😁 while hanging out at a party when some sort of apocalypse hits, leaving them all trapped inside... I'd give it a solid 7.5/10, definitely worth a watch 😁

Army of One (2016)

Even with divine intervention helping Nicolas Cage track down osama bin Laden in India, it’s still a pretty great comedy—I'd give it a solid 7.5/10. 😁

The Merck Manual and The Catcher in the Rye are honestly pretty "charming." I don't even have the heart to revisit The Butcher ever again, though—way too brutal for me.

Walking on Water is absolute madness. Jack the Ripper and Mushrooms were such a blast, I'd probably have to watch them all over again.
