This scanner is pretty straightforward enough—the issue is I'm just not sure what the next step is once I've finished scanning a document. I know the whole process involves a computer, but I haven't quite figured out how that works. Maybe there's someone kind enough to point me in the right direction?

I guess you just need to install the driver and the scanner software first. From there, it’s just a matter of scanning and then saving the file. It’s actually quite simple once you get it set up!

The driver is installed, but I think I need someone to walk me through this step-by-step—as if I have no clue what I'm doing! And then help me email it, too.

Oh boy. To be perfectly honest, my scanner is just sitting up on top of my bookshelf gathering dust right now, so I don't think I'm really in any position to walk you through the process step-by-step. I guess your best bet might be to search for a tutorial on YouTube!
