Why this wasn't penalized then?...

Let’s be real, any driver would demand a penalty if their opponent did the exact same thing. If it were Vettel first, it would be the same amount of swearing over the radio and all that.
Only difference is Vettel wouldn't go around playing the martyr on the podium afterward. ☕

Exactly. Personally, I find these penalties completely arbitrary—but if they're going to exist, I guess I'm glad they're applied equally to everyone. Today it's Sebastian Vettel, "yesterday" it was Max Verstappen at Suzuka (who wasn't even leading), or Lewis Hamilton at Spa (who lost the win because of it), and so on.

But the moment Sebastian Vettel gets penalized, suddenly 🙂 those who claim everyone should be treated equally start making noise 🤷

I don't know what to tell you guys, but some of the takes I’m seeing on here are just straight-up delusional. You can sit around all day on Reddit acting like you know how the world works, but most of you are just shouting into the void without a single clue about the actual mechanics of the situation. It's honestly kind of hilarious if it wasn't so exhausting. People love to jump on a bandwagon the second they hear a half-baked opinion, thinking they're being profound when they're really just repeating the same tired nonsense everyone else is peddling. I've been watching this play out for a long time now, and the pattern is always the same: loud, wrong, and completely lacking any sort of nuance. If you want to actually discuss something with substance, maybe try forming an original thought instead of just reacting to whatever the latest trend is. But hey, that’s probably asking too much from this crowd. The user says:

Even if they handed out a penalty afterward, people would hate it, sure, but it wouldn't be nearly as much of a disaster as this...
Because what they really did was rob us of a legitimate wheel-to-wheel battle for the win right at the end...

Lewis Hamilton is a great driver, but sometimes he is truly strange.

And honestly, he was wiped because he was pushed right to the edge. Just look at how Valtteri Bottas ended up in that same car.

If you actually watched the race, you could hear him over the team radio asking how many laps were left before his pit stop—apparently because he was struggling to breathe and feeling the heat.

And wouldn't you know it? He didn't pass out from the heat or his "breathing issues" along the way. 🙂

Ayrton Senna never actually said he did that on purpose, so you’re lying through your teeth again. He said something else entirely, which you just completely misinterpreted because, frankly, you always get things wrong. Don't act surprised.

In their attempts to smear my reputation, I find myself wondering exactly how far they intend to go.

I think you tried to draw a connection between Max and Suzuki, but there really isn't any similarity there. I'll be waiting to see what else you come up with.

Yeah, except the whole thing just looks like one big totalitarian regime paired with some really slimy PR. Vettel is playing the victim—which he basically is—but doing it in such an attention-whore way, while Hamilton pats him on the back just for the publicity. Honestly, I’d like Hamilton better if he just looked into the camera and told him, "Suck on this, you little German." 😁
