Has anyone in a leadership position here actually bothered to reach out to Instagram to figure out why they're throwing 403 errors on all our hotlinked images?

Why isn't it showing any of the Imgur links on the forum when they look totally fine on Tapatalk?
The Instagram Thumbnail previews aren't working either?!

I’ve honestly forgotten why I even started this thread in the first place 😁

Therefore, it seems nobody bothered to ask Imgur what their deal is regarding blocking the referral header from major US forums...

It’s not an Imgur issue.
Imgur works flawlessly on PCMag and various bike forums I hang out on.
It even handles thumbnail previews, which makes posts look way cleaner and easier to scan.
But here? Nothing seems to work at all.

It’s like when you click an Imgur link, your browser essentially shouts, "Hey, I'm coming from the community forums!" and then Imgur just snaps back, "Not on my watch, outlaw."

The question is why they're doing this, and more importantly, if there's any way to resolve it so Imgur lifts the ban.
