Hey everyone,

I'm looking for a laptop with a 256GB SSD, a relatively recent processor, and integrated graphics. I want something high-quality—specifically looking at HP, Dell, or Apple—with a 15.6" screen. Basically, just a solid business machine...
Here’s what I've found so far, listed in order of preference:
1.
Pros: It has the newer generation processor.
Cons: Only comes with a 2-year warranty, though it's 1 year for businesses.
2.
Pros: Memory is expandable up to 32GB, and it has a 3-year warranty.
3.
I'd probably need to buy extra RAM for this one.
Budget: roughly $850.
Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated.

First off, you have to realize these aren't actual business machines. You won't find anything like this at that price point. If you wanted a real workstation, you'd be looking at something like a MacBook Pro, which charges you a few hundred more just to get significantly weaker specs.

If I were picking from this list, I’m going with the ThinkPad every single time. It’s got the best build quality and the beefiest processors. You can always upgrade everything else later, but you’re stuck with whatever CPU you buy. Why wouldn't you go for the strongest one possible?
