Three years ago I swallowed a piece of glass about the size of a fingerprint—or at least I think I did. I haven't had any issues since. Is it actually possible to have complications years down the line from swallowing something that big? And if things do go sideways because of it, how does that even end? Are surgeries successful if I end up needing one? Is there a real risk to my long-term health, or could this actually be fatal?
