Four pages of absolute nonsense about some flag, like we don't have actual, massive problems to deal with. Maybe we should just point that energy toward getting at least 500 people out in front of the arena for the next home game... then maybe we can actually start talking about moving to a bigger stadium.

👍 These debates are completely pointless, especially now that someone else has started rambling about how certain people showed up wearing Green gear from Athens 😁. Everything happens for a reason, including the flags—which have been part of this group's history for years, sometimes as a statement, sometimes just as a template for how the group operates—and the Green gear from Athens ("Ustaše Athens" 🙏 🙏). This whole thing got out of hand; we did two little choreographies, a mountain of flags, and all that, but not a single word about the organizational side—just flags, flags, and more flags. As mentioned above, the organizing crew is working their tails off and giving it everything they've got, which you could see at recent games, but our first step in this new arena season is to "LEARN TO LISTEN TO THE GUY WITH THE BARBELL, as well as OUR OWN PEOPLE ON THE COURT who are making sure everything runs smoothly! ". Because right before the math was tallied, anyone standing in the stands or near them could see that certain individuals (I won't get into the reasons for their behavior, nor does it excuse it) aren't following protocol and are treating things with a casual "whatever" attitude, thinking we'll just wing it. Well, if everyone thinks being part of the supporters means we just show up, hang out, grab a beer, and leave, we are dead wrong. You don't seem to realize that if the guys in charge break their backs setting up a foundation for us at the futsal matches, and the supporters don't consistently follow that plan, then the whole effort is wasted. Less worrying about trivialities and nitpicking left-field stuff, and instead let's focus on the real problems and the outbursts from specific people; if they keep showing up and acting like this, we're all going to suffer and end up looking like a damn circus in Colorado rather than the PRIDE OF THE CITY AND THE COUNTRY! What’s the deal with all those flag symbols and patterns anyway...? I mean, are we really going to end up being labeled as some kind of extremists? It's funny how you can tell who actually knows their history just by listening to them. Back in the mid-80s, everyone was obsessed with the English style of football hooliganism. Like Stancer said, there was always at least one British flag flying at those matches because of the sheer chaos and grit of the game back then... which is probably where that old chant about Chelsea comes from.

Regarding that second photo from Stancer—was that from that first match against Auxer when we lost? If I recall, that was the night the North Stand set a record for staying on their feet the whole time.
(I know we grabbed the win away, but they absolutely crushed us at home...)

We really need to stay sharp to prevent any kind of chaos or total breakdown during this kickoff phase. If someone needs a heads-up, give it to them, or just grab some of the older guys to step in and talk sense to a "brave soul" who insists on doing his own thing while he's under the influence... We can't have the whole group losing its organizational edge, and honestly, everyone needs to know and respect who is actually leading the chants, for crying out loud.

(It reminds me of back in the day at the old stadium in Chicago; if the guys in the middle section weren't cheering, you’d warn them first, and if they didn't listen, things could get physical. I mean, what kind of coward sits right in the heart of the North Stand if you don't want to join in? Just sitting there with your hands folded, staring intensely at the pitch and critiquing the game...)

I really believe we need to focus on boosting our club membership numbers. I know times are tough right now, but $17 sometimes you have to take a leap of faith and back your club. Honestly, anyone who used to hang out at the local ballpark should consider signing up; that would give us a massive boost.

Yeah, I find it a little weird too... especially when you see people from all over the US, even from places like Texas or Florida, signing up for the club. I mean, look at the turnout at the local stadium—there were 4,000 people there, yet we only saw about 400 membership applications come through.

The Union Jack—and for a while even the St. George’s Cross—was actually a staple in the Bad Boys section. It was there from the very beginning and stayed that way for a long damn time.

People used to obsess over the English scene; some looked up to them as the gold standard, and honestly, some still do today.

Tons of Dodgers fans had actual ties and friendships with English firms—think Leeds, Chelsea, Man Utd, Sheffield Wed, all that stuff—and they’d travel over to catch games in the UK.

Personally, I was stoked to see that flag flying in the stands. A little old-school vibe never hurt anyone, and that flag adds a certain grit. It shows we've always been true to our roots. 👍
