jbt what have you guys done to BBB

I remember when we used to head out to games just for the hell of it—for the girls, the buddies, and Dinamo... but today? There's nothing left. Nobody who actually grew up with the club would even dream of making a dime off it anymore

Money has totally ruined everything, honestly. It’s the root of all these divisions. And looking at how things are right now in America, in our society, and in the American mindset, I’m afraid this cycle will never end, unfortunately

Good intentions just don't exist anymore

Jonathan Gonzalez3 said:So, what’s actually the big distinction here between Mamić and Hoeneß?

Well, I mean, it's true that Hoeneß ended up behind bars, but it wasn't because he was embezzling from the club or dealing with some massive conflict of interest. It was more about him failing to pay his taxes to the government on stock trades he made over in Switzerland...

And I guess that's really where the gap lies. It's like that proverbial body buried in the basement that everyone knew had to be found and dug up... and I suspect this other guy has something just as dark buried somewhere deep down too...

Peter Robinson21 said:Mamić would have climbed the ladder just the same here. You really think Hoeneß is any cleaner than him?

Except he’s smarter about it. Hoeneß was pocketing cash from players and coaches too, and even swaggering into locker rooms... except at Bayern, the members actually voted for him to do that. They didn't do that with Dynamo.

Like I said before... I've heard things from people way out in the Midwest, and honestly, I don't know if I trust them. I'm staying out of this mess. People are talking a lot of nonsense everywhere, so I'm done believing anyone.

America is crawling with rats and traitors. Why are you surprised?

Sure, Mamić isn't the only thief on the planet. But like you said—the members picked Hoeneß. And let's not forget, Hoeneß ended up behind bars. ☕

If the Dynamo fans want Mamić, fine. We'll get Mamić.

America is full of snakes and traitors. Mamić's Dynamo is just more of the same. 😉

Peter Robinson21 said:Look, Hoeneß ended up behind bars, sure, but it wasn't because he was looting the club or playing favorites. It was about dodging taxes on his Swiss stock trades...

So that's where you're tripping up. You're talking about some single body hidden in a basement that someone needs to dig up... whereas this guy? This absolute piece of work has an entire mass grave buried right under the streets of Chicago...

What are you even talking about? There isn't just one "body in the basement." He’s got a damn graveyard right in the middle of downtown Chicago... and honestly, didn't you catch on yet? There’s one group out there doing everything humanly possible to show people those corpses, and then there’s another group working overtime to help him sweep them under the rug... and you're sitting here telling me you can't decide which side to take?

It’s not like he just has some bodies hidden in a basement; he basically has a mass grave right in the middle of downtown Chicago... and I don't think you realize there's a whole group of people out there trying everything in their power to open everyone's eyes to those corpses, while another group is actively helping him sweep them under the rug... and you're sitting here saying you can't decide which side to take...

I mean, I'm pretty sure he’s got an entire cemetery stashed away somewhere, but honestly, what does that even matter if nobody is actually capable of digging up even a single body????

Personally, I've heard that players have to sign private contracts directly with his son, but again, what good is that if not one single player has the guts to stand up to him or the USSF... if just one guy had the backbone to go straight to UEFA and report it... but yeah, I guess that’s probably never going to happen...

Jonathan Gonzalez3, I think you might be getting a little too worked up here.... personally, I am on the side of Dynamo... that’s where I stand and that’s how it stays... it isn't the club's fault if it's being run by an idiot, and it isn't the club's fault if the USSF protects that idiot, nor is it the club's fault if the government is either unable or unwilling to do something about such a smug individual...

That day will eventually come... the day when he won't be able to hide anymore... I'll be waiting for that day...

Jesse Campbell said:Well, I suppose Mamić isn't exactly the only crook on the planet. Like you pointed out earlier—the members were the ones who chose Hoeneß, after all. And, if I recall correctly, Hoeneß is actually behind bars now. ☕

If the Dynamo fans really want Mamić, then fine, we'll have Mamić. It’s their call, I guess.

The US is just crawling with informants and traitors. And Mamić's Dynamo? That's even worse, probably. 😉

Maybe take a look at my second-to-last post:

sure, Hoeneß is in prison, but it wasn't because he was stealing from the club or dealing with conflicts of interest; it was more about failing to pay his taxes to the government regarding those stock trades in Switzerland...

Whatever the members decide, let it be... personally, I am completely in favor of that...

If you were actually a Dynamo fan, you’d be standing up for him instead of just covering for Alcatraz.

Even Al Capone went down on tax evasion. Doesn't mean that was his only sin. Just means it was the only one the Feds actually had proof for.

Well, that’s exactly my point... Mobsters don't usually get caught for the big stuff everyone expects; they mostly fall because of some little technicality... you just have to find that one tiny loophole to exploit...

@Ej

Where on earth did you get the idea that I'm rooting for Alcatraz? I've never even been to Belgrade, nor do I ever plan to visit Belgrade.... I can't stand Red Star or Partizan... and I'm certainly not Mexican...

Good cop, bad cop 🙄

The PR agency is following the playbook perfectly. Congratulations; we're waiting to see the next strategic move.

The guys from the Rust Belt are fighting for everything you claim to believe in, right? And then the folks up in New England are fighting for everything you absolutely despise? Meanwhile, you’re just sitting there in the North, looking down your nose at them. Maybe I’m just thick, but I honestly don't get it.

What part of this isn't clear?

I honestly don't get why everyone is being so venomous—and why anyone is still even bothering to talk to him on the Forum.

I suppose there's something you haven't quite grasped here... personally, I tend to criticize both sides... I guess that's just how I am...

slyeagle512... what kind of assignments am I supposed to have on this forum? And who exactly would I be receiving them from?

brisksurfer21...

And honestly, what exactly is bothering you about this conversation? Is it just that someone doesn't share your exact perspective? Does it bother you that people aren't all shouting "hooray, everyone is doing exactly what we want"? You say you want elections, which implies you want democracy, which means you should want everyone to have their own voice... but wait, since we aren't living in Yugoslavia anymore and there isn't a Kim Jong Un to force everyone into a single opinion, there are going to be people who think differently, people who say "I disagree with you"... and when I say I don't agree with you, or even with the goals of the Northern faction... well, I guess that's just my view. What's the issue with that?

Oh, and I suppose if you aren't standing right there with them against the opposition...

You claim to want democracy, yet you try to control people like they're in North Korea... you want a free club like a major US franchise, but then you won't allow any actual freedom of choice... what if I'm completely for a third option in all of this? What if I'm not siding with mamica or Simica and his crew? What if I actually fancy myself being the next Rainer Calmund, acting as the Manager Dinamo?

The problem, I think, is that there are always two sides to every coin... and sometimes, there's a third one too...

Jacob Price23 said:So, I guess you could say I’ve completely shifted my tune all of a sudden? I suppose I should explain how that happened. It wasn't exactly a planned maneuver, if that makes sense. Maybe I just felt like the previous direction wasn't quite hitting the mark anymore, or perhaps the wind just changed. I'm still figuring out the exact reasoning myself, really. It feels like a bit of a pivot, though I'd prefer to think of it as a necessary adjustment to the current circumstances. I guess we'll see where this new path leads us.

I suppose I should probably address this situation, though I’m not entirely sure if it warrants such a deep dive. It seems there is some ongoing discussion regarding the recent developments within the league, and I find myself wondering about the implications for the upcoming season. Perhaps it is a bit premature to draw conclusions, but one can't help but notice certain patterns emerging. I was reading some thoughts from Jesse Campbell earlier, and while his perspective is certainly interesting, I feel like he might be overlooking a few key variables. Then again, maybe I am just being overly cautious. There is a certain level of uncertainty that seems to permeate the current discourse, which I find somewhat perplexing, yet strangely engaging. It is almost like watching a slow-motion replay where you know the outcome, but you still find yourself squinting at the screen to see exactly how the contact was made. Anyway, I guess what I am trying to say is that things are shifting. It feels a bit unsettled, much like the atmosphere in Chicago during a particularly unpredictable summer storm. One moment everything seems steady, and the next, you're bracing for impact. I don't mean to ramble, but it feels important to acknowledge that we are all navigating these changes together, even if our interpretations of them differ quite significantly. We shall see how it unfolds, I suppose.

What exactly did I say that was so wrong? It’s just that losses don't sting quite as much as they used to, I suppose... though, then again, there I was in the stands—or maybe just jumping around my living room in front of the TV like a complete idiot—when we managed to claw back to 3:1 against Austria, and I felt absolutely gutted when they ended up pulling one back to make it 3:2. I wasn't exactly cheering when we failed to qualify for the Champions League, nor was I celebrating whenever the other team found the back of the net. I guess I'm just being honest.

I often find myself wondering if things could ever return to how they used to be... and even today, that feeling persists. I suppose it's because I truly miss it—I miss that sense of pride we once held, that quality that really made us stand out from the crowd. But, unfortunately, that era feels dead to me now, and I honestly don't know if we'll ever see those days again. Maybe I'm just being nostalgic, but it's hard not to feel that way.

All I see is a complete collapse. The fan base has hit rock bottom, and honestly, the team has gone right down with them. It’s going to stay this way for years. We’re turning into the Grave Diggers, just tearing each other apart—which is exactly what’s happening now—until someone finally pays the price for it.

The people you're standing next to in the stands? Up until very recently, they were throwing flares at one another and cracking skulls with heavy metal flagpoles. Total idiots.

There are fools on every side... whether it's out East or up North... I suppose it doesn't really matter who’s kissing whom and who isn't...

By the way, there is one group, then there's another group further removed from them... which means we actually have three factions here now... the Anti-Mamicev crowd, the Mamicev crowd, and then those who just couldn't care less about either side... and now, if you ask me where I fit in, after I've basically insulted everyone equally... well, it doesn't please anyone... not one side or the other... I don't know, honestly... I was born foolish, I lived foolishly, and I guess I'll die foolishly too...

btw. You've got one group over there, then another separate group further out... basically, we're looking at three factions now: the Anti-Mamicevs, the Mamicevs, and the crowd that couldn't care less about either side. Now, if you want to ask where I fit in after I've already talked trash about pretty much everyone... well, nobody likes me for it. Not one of them. Honestly, what am I supposed to do? Born a fool, lived a fool, probably gonna die a fool too. Just my luck.

You don't even know what you're talking about anymore.. but let me ask you one more time... what have you actually heard from people living far away from the North!?
