I have just one question, and frankly, it feels a bit silly to start an entirely new thread over it, but since I couldn't find a dedicated discussion topic regarding motherboards, I suppose I have no choice but to post here.

I am planning on picking up an ASUS H87-PRO motherboard, so I was wondering if anyone knows which is the most recent revision available? Furthermore, if anyone here actually owns one, I would be interested to hear your thoughts on its performance.

There’s absolutely no revision happening here.
As far as I can recall, those early USB 3.0 motherboards were constantly being shipped back to the manufacturer for repairs. That was when they actually started using revision labels. When was that again...?

Don't overthink it; this board is a newer generation. For an everyday user, it has everything you really need. If you pick it up, you won't regret it.

You missed the point of my question. I'm asking specifically which UEFI BIOS revision we're talking about here—is it 2.0, 2.1, or something else entirely? Obviously, my intention is to go with the latest version available, so that distinction is vital to me.

That shouldn't really matter. Regardless of the version number, you just head over to this site https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/H8...Desk_Download/, pick the right one for your OS, and install the most recent BIOS update they have listed.
