Justin Watson4 said:Jesse Campbell, if you have even a shred of dignity left, please, as a "colleague," stop the LIES. You're constantly lying and feeding people false hope! This fight will be won on the streets when the time comes! It’s definitely not being won on paper like the fake hope you keep pushing! If you think I'm full of it, go talk to the people (like me) who actually got hammered in San Francisco while your car just sat there watching us bleed, and tell them personally: "NOW WE'RE GONNA HELP?!" Look, you turned out to be a total coward, so as a coward, you have no right to speak for any kind of struggle! Stop it NOW on behalf of everyone who is GENUINELY fighting every single day! Stop shaming us day after day! If you have any dignity left at all!

Alright man, you on something? I'm not giving anyone hope, I'm just stating my opinion, which I have every right to do. A fight happens through institutions, on the street, and in the stands. I'm fighting on all three fronts; I don't even know who you are or what fight you're supposedly leading.

But I know you're a liar because I've never seen anyone get wrecked like that. In San Francisco, it was actually the exact opposite. Come on, big guy, tell us who you are and when this happened so we can see who's actually lying here.

Fighting through institutions doesn't negate other ways to fight. And it's not like I'm deciding or leading any of those fights myself. So quit acting like a soldier and ignore the obvious: the inspectors are going to make their call.

Change happens through legal institutions, on the streets, and in the stands at the stadium. I’m fighting all three fronts. As for you? I have no clue who you are or what kind of "struggle" you think you're leading.

But honestly, I know you're full of it because I've never seen anyone get shut down quite like that. Down in Seattle, we've actually seen the exact opposite happen. Come on, buddy—tell us who you are and when this happened so we can see who's actually lying here.

Fighting through official channels doesn't mean you're ignoring other ways to make a stand. It's not like I'm calling the shots on every single type of protest, either. So, stop being so aggressive and just accept the obvious: the inspectors are going to hand down their decision.

😂 Of course. Sometimes I really feel bad for you. When we finally cross paths, I'll tell you exactly how I feel right to your face. Don't you worry about that. 😉

Oh yeah, you're the billionth guy who’s gonna "tell it to my face." 🙄

Just tell me when this supposedly happened, what the deal was, and who else was there so we can settle this. I'm not letting anyone drag my name through the mud for something I didn't do.

Or just admit you're a straight-up liar. 🙂

And if you're feeling too big for your boots, go shove it up your ass and count to 15,000.

Or, you know, just admit you're being a total liar. 🙂

And if you're feeling extra bold, why don't you go take a hike and count to 15,000?

Oh yeah, you "didn't do anything." You sure talk a big game, but you haven't contributed a single thing. See ya around, buddy.

Man, I’ve seen plenty of these little "hardcore" fans who act tough for three seasons and call themselves ultras, but they're nothing. Some of them even picked fights with me in person or online. Now? They vanished.

I don't see them lately when things actually get heavy. No more showing off their gym muscles, nowhere to be found at away games, not even at the home stadium. They aren't there when someone needs to write an official statement or a press release at 3 AM, but they're the first ones out when it's time to spread negativity and start internet wars.

If everyone actually stepped up like I do, this whole fight would have been won ages ago. 😉

And about that Cleveland stuff—write down exactly when it happened so we can all see who's lying through their teeth. Obviously, we can settle any of this face-to-face too. Goodnight, Mickey.

Cut out all that defeatism already. I find myself constantly cycling through these exact emotions—swinging from a state of utter despair and disillusionment over everything we’ve fought for, straight into this sense of defiant, stubborn pride. Nobody else possesses this kind of grit. Throughout our entire history, we and the Lakers have been beaten down in every possible way imaginable, yet here we still are. Every single new contract signed and every time the team gathers together, it restores my sense of optimism. That is exactly how it ought to be; we simply have to keep pushing forward, even though the current situation is messy and feels nearly impossible within a democratic society. But if we were able to weather the era of Ronald Reagan, we can certainly survive this battered mess we're in now. It might feel like a delusional, forced kind of optimism, but there isn't any other option available to us. There is no giving up, and there is no room for despair. This whole situation would be unthinkable anywhere else, but we are where we are, and we fight because we want our children to one day have the Lakers too.

Sean Wilson2 said:Stop with all this doom and gloom!! Life hits me hard too. I bounce from feeling totally hopeless about everything we fought for, straight back to being damn proud. Nobody else gets it, nobody!! Our whole history with the Lakers has been us getting screwed over in a thousand different ways, but we’re still standing.. Every single signature, every time the crew links up, it brings that spark back. That’s how you play it—just keep pushing. Things are messy and feel impossible in a democracy like ours.. But if we made it through the Ronald Reagan era, we can survive this pathetic mess too.. It’s basically just fake LSD optimism, but there's no other way! No giving up, no wallowing.. This situation is insane, but whatever, here we are. We fight so our kids can actually have the Lakers one day..

When you've been pulling up to Lakers games for 30 years, you've seen enough shit that you have to be an optimist. We had the 80s when we were just some loser dissident club under the watchful eye of a dangerous communist regime, and we had the 90s which were nothing but a brutal fight for our identity against the President. You really think some guy in a denim jacket is gonna make me depressed right now!? HEY!!!

No matter how tough things get or how powerful he acts, he's still just that former denim-jacket smuggler I first saw back in 1989 in St. Louis, wearing an oversized windbreaker and carrying sandwiches sent by Joe Biden. Basically, the guy is just a total John Doe! Give me a break! He's the one running our club!

Besides, being a pessimist makes zero sense! ☕☕☕

Jesse Campbell said:When you have been supporting the Lakers for thirty years, you have seen enough cycles to know that maintaining a sense of optimism is actually a necessity. We lived through the eighties when we were treated like a bunch of underdog dissidents under the watchful eye of a dangerous communist regime, and we endured the nineties, which were essentially one long, grueling battle for our identity against the President. I am certainly not about to let some petty street hustler in denim bring me down into a depression right now. Seriously!

No matter how difficult things get or how terrifyingly powerful he might seem, at the end of the day, he is still just that former guy selling jeans on the corner—the same one I first saw back in 1989 in St. Louis, wearing an oversized windbreaker and delivering sandwiches sent by Joe Biden. Honestly, the man is basically a total John Doe! It’s absolutely ridiculous that this is the person currently running our club!

Beyond that, falling into pessimism is simply irrational! ☕☕☕

xx
They can issue a hundred press releases for all I care, but nothing is going to make me abandon this fight. In fact, it is precisely because they are such bottom-feeders—evolutionarily speaking, they are practically rats compared to us—that there is absolutely no chance we will ever give up. To be clear, this doesn't just annoy me; it makes you feel like you might actually expire from the sheer weight of the injustice, but there is no other option. If we don't fight, who will? There have been much more desperate situations throughout the history of the Lakers and the entire country, yet people always stood their ground.
It isn't that we aren't present; that's not the issue at all. As long as we see this kind of response to petitions, tournaments, and rallies, we know we are here, and eventually, something is bound to shift 😉

"Sky... I get why you're so pissed about the Markićkin situation. I felt the exact same way back in the day... but honestly? I'm starting to see his side now. Just take a breath. It’s probably not the time for deep philosophical debates right now... we aren't going to turn our backs on him. Not ever. Time will eventually favor the righteous... stay strong out there in Chicago... let the spirit of the old guard guide us... and I'm certain the ultimate victory will belong to the North once again."

Casey, you wrote this back on March 7th. It looks like you and Jesse Campbell have some serious chemistry going on; you two clearly have history.

So much of what happened in the past was totally "by the book," if you know what I mean! The whole Mamicev era was basically set in stone even before the boycotts started. Honestly, only idiots actually think Mamic is just sitting there holding Dynamo together by himself! Man, he would’ve walked away ages ago, but he can't—he's stuck because he's got this massive list of people he's paying off. That octopus is gonna pop eventually, I swear. Here’s the thing you gotta keep repeating: Mamic isn't the root of all evil here; he’s actually one of the least guilty players in the game. The real rot is deep in the justice system, the Government, the police! That's where the fight needs to be directed, because he’s finished, he really is, it's just the money keeping him at the top. Once that dries up, he falls, and that damn octopus is finally gonna burst! It won't happen today or tomorrow, maybe it takes two or three years, but when it happens, it's happening! When that octopus finally pops, the scandals are going to make the ExxonMobil leaks or those highway tunnel projects look like nothing... When everything goes south, it'll be the best day of my life, mostly because I'll finally be on the winning side! Even if Dynamo doesn't exist anymore and ends up playing in the 2nd County League, I don't care. I'll be proud knowing I stood up against the system and against the absolute sheep that make up our country!

I couldn't care less about being optimistic or pessimistic regarding M.K.! The victory is already won! WE HAVE PROVEN TO EVERYONE JUST HOW CORRUPT AND RUINED THIS COUNTRY REALLY IS! As for all the other sheep out there who think otherwise, WELL, I DON'T GIVE A DAMN!

UNTIL THE VERY LAST MAN STANDS! RESIST THE SYSTEM! RESIST THE SHEEP!

Honestly, when it all blows up, it’ll probably be the best day of my life, just because I'll know I was on the winning side! Even if Dynamo doesn't exist anymore and ends up playing in some local County League, I'll be proud knowing I stood up against the system, and against the mindless sheep in our own country!

🙏

I guess that's really the point, isn't it? Like, we're all out here fighting one little tentacle of this octopus, when we should really be smashing its head in (like you said), but it feels like the head isn't even connected to the rest of it

I honestly don't understand how anyone can still believe that federal institutions are actually going to step up and do something. The Department will just double down on their decision, and then people will file appeals with the exact same court that already ruled everything was perfectly fine—and that'll be the end of it. The only thing that can actually make an impact is a massive movement of people, meaning us. Everything else is just a complete waste of time.

What I want to know is where all those 28,000 people who signed the petition suddenly disappeared to when it's time to actually hit the streets and protest. It’s pathetic... it’s always the same 500 or 1,000 people showing up every single time.

Calling all Dynamo fans to show up on June 15th at the local school field over in the Folnegovićev neighborhood. We're marking five years since one of our longest pieces of street art went up.

There’ll be some BBQ and drinks at decent prices, I guess. Buying stuff helps support the Dynamo BBB fan club.

It's a good chance to hang with the guys from the stands, maybe join the Dynamo BBB fan club ($17) or grab some gear.

We might even unveil a new section of the mural 🙂.
DJ Ivan Novosel will be spinning tracks.

How many people actually signed Markićkin's petition versus how many are actually out protesting Gay Pride?

Does that mean they don't have an opinion, or they just don't feel like they have the right to speak up?

Everyone’s just ignoring Gay Pride because that’s what gets under their skin the most!
Empty stands and silence... all it does is give Mamić the perfect cover to keep doing whatever he wants without any interference!
We need more than just a few voices; we need everyone on board if we want this whole movement to actually carry some weight. A signature on a piece of paper isn't enough!
If a few thousand regular Americans had shown up to our protests out west, time after time, I bet we’d be seeing much better results by now!

p.s. John got smacked down by the Government, but hey, at least he warned us from the jump that he was going to drain the swamp! This whole country is a mess and honestly, it feels pretty hopeless...

Well, Markićkin's petition had a very specific goal: getting a referendum. And that referendum actually happened and passed.
I guess we have to ask what this current petition is even aiming for. It feels like it might just be an end in itself, which is a shame, really.

A massive protest would probably carry much more weight, and I'd say it would be a far more effective way to put pressure on Banditić and his crew.

What's the point of this current petition then? It feels like it's just existing for its own sake. Total waste.

A massive protest would carry way more weight anyway. That's how you actually put pressure on Bandit City and their crew.

Neither of you guys really gets what I'm saying.

Signing something means you back the idea. Period. This "one member, one vote" thing isn't just some fantasy for AC/DC or Chicago Blackhawks fans anymore—it's an actual movement backed by a huge chunk of Dinamo fans.

First, four former captains signed on, then a massive crowd followed. We haven't been spinning our wheels for nothing. You think people just sign random stuff for fun? Clearly, you've never tried to collect signatures for anything in your life... 🙄

And for the record, I'm all for a big protest. ☕

As far as I'm concerned, I'm all for a massive protest. ☕

We had 18,000 signatures a few years back—if I remember right, they were handed over to Banderas—and after that, I never heard a single word a o petition again!

The only way to move the needle is through massive protests with at least 10,000 people out in the streets!
