I could write a book on this, but why bother? Just one thing though... based on what you said, it sounds like even the mercenaries have the same goal: getting rid of Mamić. 🙂
Making moves. Yeah, exactly. But why even bother staying quiet when those suckers and losers keep baiting him? 🙂 Who cares? We all know who calls the shots here, just like how things have always been. 🙄
Jesse Campbell said:I think you guys are being way too hard on the Cleveland crowd. You're completely ignoring some pretty obvious facts here.
Koch is just playing Volpi's game. To Mamić, he’s basically the ultimate right-hand man. Look, Mamić is nothing more than a low-rent small-town thug—this is serious business we're talking about. Just because Mike plays nice with him doesn't mean he actually likes the guy. It just means he knows exactly who runs American soccer and understands that nothing gets done without his blessing. Volpi handed him that job, so he’s going to carry it out. Plain and simple: without Mamić, none of this happens.
Look, that doesn't make it right from a moral standpoint, and I'm definitely not under any illusion thinking Koch is some kind of saint. But it does explain a few things. It also hints that Koch might just turn his back on the Head whenever it suits him. And honestly, the fact that Mamić screwed over Štimac doesn't mean much—Štimac is cut from the exact same cloth as Mamić. Just more of that small-town, low-class mentality.
Cleveland has a much stronger economy than Miami. It’s more western-leaning, too. I was out there on business recently and honestly, their marketing game blew me away. They’re operating on the level of the Brooklyn Nets, while they're miles ahead of the Dodgers. Personally, I think the Dodgers have gone way too far—slapping their logo on every damn thing imaginable. Plus, you've got all those Mamić stories where everything just circles back to his nieces and some smoker. At this rate, Cleveland actually looks like they could be a powerhouse in the future, even after the Head is gone.
I seriously doubt anyone in Cleveland actually supports the Head or the USSF. I have no clue where you guys even got that idea. Look, it’s true we turn a blind eye to certain things sometimes. But you really think people in Chicago or Miami wouldn't be doing the exact same thing? If they weren't turning a blind eye, we wouldn't have such an empty trophy case compared to the rest of the league. And I'm talking about the general public here, not just the hardcore ultras.
Look, you’re absolutely right about one thing: the Head has his hands in everything. Maybe he didn't go out of his way to screw over Cleveland, but he definitely didn't lift a finger to help Real Madrid grab that trophy either. If the Head had actually decided to hand the Cup to Real Madrid, they would've walked away with it. American soccer is a total circus. It's obvious to everyone. Some people just don't care—they actually enjoy the chaos. Honestly, the whole legacy of Yugoslavia, the old socialist era, that "brotherhood and unity" nonsense—it was all a joke. Our politics is a farce, which is why people keep voting for the same garbage over and over. Our job is to make sure the public sees through the act. In Miami, they made their point. In Chicago, it worked because people finally started boycotting Mamić. That first Cup final match was a massive wake-up call. Now, it's time for the Armada to step up. They need to put the pressure on Koch and the folks in Cleveland to reject this entire scam and finally show some teeth against the criminals and the gang running the show.

Back then, they brushed me off regarding Mamić, claiming there was nothing they could do because he wasn't physically at the stadium, but now that Šuker has gone and made those racist remarks practically during the handover ceremony, I think it's time for a change. If we're expected to clear out our own stands to maintain order, then it is high time this branded hillbilly faces some actual consequences too.☕

slyeagle512 said:There’s nothing lower than a fan calling for a penalty against someone else—even when those people are nothing more than paid mercenaries.
boldeagle20 said:No decent fan would ever want that. This has crossed every line of what’s considered acceptable. For a group that spends its time hunting down kids in Washington, D.C., and engaging in everything from shady stunts to disgusting banners, I have zero sympathy.
You all look ridiculous trying to defend them or act like there's some shared moral ground here.
feralpanther50 said:It’s funny how things flip. One day you’re all worshiping those absolute morons and their little cronies, and the next thing you know, they’re "useless" or "sellouts." Honestly, people just jump on whatever bandwagon is winning. It all comes down to who's serving who and whether you're part of the "in" crowd or not.
might say:
No decent fan would ever agree to this. It’s crossed every reasonable line. For a group that hunts kids down in Chicago and carries out those kinds of shady operations—from the people involved to the banners they hang—I have zero sympathy.
It’s honestly laughable that you’re supporting them or trying to establish some kind of moral high ground with them.
Give me a break. 😕 You expect me to talk to them about honor and trust? To look at them that way? They’re basically on a permanent blacklist anyway, and they still slip into the stadium whenever N. pulls a few strings. So where’s the actual problem there?
So many of our own people (myself included) fell for stupidity and got banned from the stadium. Am I supposed to feel some sort of fan solidarity toward them now?
I couldn't even laugh at this one. Just pity them. I hope they never get caught for the things they do that drag our whole group through the mud.
